She's not real, he knows that. Rick kept his eyes pinned on her nonetheless, he'd forgotten what it felt like to have her around.

"You're not real," he admitted to himself, like he had done many  times before.

There weren't exactly sleepovers Carl could go on anymore, so having Lori in his tent at night was incredibly rare. She wouldn't leave the boy alone and Shane would never ask her to do any such thing. They'd only managed it twice before, each time because Carl was with Sophia or the Morales' kids, as he was now, gathered around a board game in the RV before bedtime. Shane had only just relinquished the night watch to one of the other men in the camp when he noticed Lori coming out of the RV alone, but it hadn't crossed his mind to ask if they had time. For once.

Imagine his surprise when she slipped into his tent a few minutes later, while Shane was sitting on the end of the fold-out cot that served as his bed, right in the middle of unbuttoning his shirt. All of their moments together were stolen, brief things that could amount to falling together in a rush, hardly bothering to undress, or something as simple as the brush of a hand in passing. All of it, all of her mattered. She'd been the one holding him up this whole time. 

There wasn't much bed to crawl on but Lori still managed it with her usual grace, sliding over to tuck herself into his side. All he had to do was turn his head a little to find his nose buried in her hair, then duck down to kiss just under her ear. That was a favored spot, but only because he knew the sounds he could draw out of her by starting there and travelling down, tracing the delicate curve of her neck further south. 

All in due time though. For the moment, he slid an arm around her waist and pressed just one more kiss to that same place. "How much time we got?"

Down by the Riverside;--closed {Flashback} RP

One could never deny the feeling of waking up in the prison. Sometimes the nightmares could consume that piece of mind you had and other times you’d ignore it. For Rick, waking up on a cot with a sore back was worth the safety and hard work to keep this place safe. He wouldn’t lose this place - walkers can’t get inside unless through the tombs and he made that a daily routine to keep cleared out.

Another feeling he couldn’t deny was having someone pressed against him when he woke up. Even though Rick was still pissed about what happened betwixt Lori and Shane, the Sheriff would never stop taking care of his pregnant wife. Rick rolled over on his side to nuzzle his face into her neck, a sign he really didn’t want to get up for watch.

"Mm~ I swear it feels like I just went to sleep."

A slurred mutter before he drifted off once again.
