El arte del autoengaño

Me sorprende el cómo nos mentimos a la cara diariamente, luchamos por estar bien, por jugar un papel, por pretender. ¿Y sí no eres lo que crees? ¿Sí todo es un engaño? ¿Sí tu autocrítica se limitó? ¿Qué hacer cuando te encuentras ante lo que no quieres aceptar? ¿Por qué no lo dices en voz alta? 

Sencillo:

Duele. Duele ser menos de lo que esperabas de tí mismo. Duele ser lo que mucho tiempo criticaste. Duele.

Todo este tiempo ha sido esconder un elefante bajo la alfombra. Pero más dificil aún fingir que no lo ves. Un cliché, el ciego que no quiere ver, Narciso en el lago. La aguja en el pajar.
