something about the ending of the medley relay with haru, rin, ikuya and sousuke just made me realise something.

even if they have never actually swam with haru, or had any special relationship with him. everyone just really loves him/respect him.

sure, he might be the ultimate main character which is why the creators made every character respect him, but I just find it truly soul-fulfilling how everyone literally atleast looks up to him.

when Haruka fainted after the relay, everyone ran to his side. Sure, i expected makoto and the iwatobi boys to run to his aid but what I didn’t expect was the Samezuka boys, nor the High-Speed! Line up, or even hiyori go run to help/check-up on haru.

it showed that haru’s just a hero to everyone, and he’s very respected.

when i initially found out he was a leo, i was already happy since it’s also matching zodiacs with nagisa (who is one of my favs)

but when I found out we share the exact same bday, i legit teared up lol
