I wanted to create a book that make the characters come out. As you guys can see everything is in the color white because of the pages of the book and then later on they get the true colors of these real characters. I am always mesmerized by the stage, the scene, the characters, the emotions, the feeling, and everything in the performance. So that is the main reason I created this artwork. Also to provoke the idea and the process of creation. I think making this last project I have fun even though I have more tests to do and work to finish. But if I have more time I will add more body parts so it could be more interesting, dynamic, and expressive. This was a fun and remarkable ride. Thank you all for listening and thank you the professor for the opportunity.

The title of the artowork is: “Mr. Kite”

61x41 inches

Materials: fabric, steel, hat, plastic glasses, a wig.

What I did was a Kite he is pilot he likes to fly is made of steel you aleady know and also representing the colorful fabric all around it because every kid loves color, fantasy, imagination, and adventure and when I was a kid I used to play with my kite. Moreover; the thread of the kite somehow represents the spine of the human sort of but right here I don’t think that I am representing that too much`. Therefore you can move the statue because the kite is always moving aroung in the sky as well the human being. Moreover, The Kite is a person, so I am representing a human form. Basically with an object you can transform it to a human here is an example..The most difficult part is working with this material because is hard to bend, fusion the metal together and this is my first time. But I am happy about the outcome. Thank you for the opportunity Professor and thank you all for listening.

First of all, I was having fun doing this project I have some basic notion about the wood process and somehow the play wood is really interesting because I discover something new. Moreover; I was having many ideas before the deconstruction of the table, and nothing was coming sense to me, but at the end of the many ideas I finally decided to create a staircase indicating the future and the struggle of the path of life. Moreover; the composition is white because when I think of the reflection to have when accomplishing anything it requires a clear vision, pure vision, and nothing is more pure than the color white, but sometimes in life you need to look in the dark to see the light. Moreover, what a wonderful thing to add some clouds to illustrate that your steps are elevated in such way that you are crossing the wonderful sky in the horizon. Finally; I added the light on top indicating the illumination of the path god and this unexplainable source is creating our life, also I added phrases and cheerful figures made of the hot silicone gun such as flowers, sun, clouds, etc.. I think this is my first time that I am truly happy about the sculpture project. Finally, Thank you very much professor for the opportunity! And thank you all for listening and coming to me saying good feedback about the sculpture. Thank you again.
