I was going through some old paper and I found a comic I drew as a joke for my cousin, Dani and I figured I’d post it here so i can throw the original away. We used to live together, and one year she had to bring a dessert to a halloween party. I happened to find a recipe for graham cracker and frosting bandaids (which tasted amazing, btw). I’ve been experimenting with a much more graphic approach to art, beca I’ve been reading about 50’s animation and the influence of the Poster Style, and I found I’m a little in love with graphic art. It’s been a while since I felt as proud of a piece as I have of this one. This is the first drawing that has turned out how I wanted it to since last year; the shapes ended up looking exactly how I’d envisioned them. I’m trying very hard to get back into drawing a little.
