Every few years Phil Lollar releases a novelization of a Blackgaard episode, with just a little extra information about a few characters in it, and I eat it up EVERY single time.

Something that drives me up a wall, is people calling the netflix LHOTP a "reboot" or a "remake." Because that's not what it is. They're not remaking Michael Landon's Little House. They're making their own adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder's books.

The whole reason I'm personally not interested in the Netflix show is because I'm not attached to the books. I'm attached to the Michael Landon show. It's my favorite show. But his is NOT a good adaptation!! I consider it to be a 9 season period drama that I'm obsessed with, completely unrelated to Laura Ingalls Wilder.

That's why it KILLS me when people complain about new LHOTP adaptations because "nothing can beat the original."

Okay, but honestly, I personally really liked Buck's conversion episode. The baseball thing was weird, but I liked the call-back to his dad's coversion with the flashbacks and such. I also thought that the idea of having Buck and Jules convert at the same time, miles apart from eachother, was beautiful and fitting for them. My only complaint, is that after the masterpiece that was Jules' conversion, Buck's felt rushed. So you can only imagine how let down I was when the album finale was an ATROCIOUSLY slapped together episode about Renee converting...
