Watching winter from a window.

.....It was big, like for some reason the earth’s gravity tripped for one night and pulled the moon right beside her just to light up our dinner. It was so close we could write our names on the lunar sand and when the moon would go back to its proper place, we’d see “C + B were here” using a telescope. Heh Pope Leo XIII is such a wuss! But its almost time. I can’t wait to talk to you later. I wonder though, why at times I still find it hard to talk to you on the phone. It feels so much better when were together. I guess I’m scared to talk to you, I don’t want to sound silly or geeky or weird so sometimes I don’t want to say anything at all, but you know even if you say nonsense it still means something to me. Let’s be silly, geeky, weird and nonsensical together. When we do talk about something I’m filled with so much comfort and peace, like how the moon and the earth got so close without causing a disaster: ‘cus the two know that they belong together and even if they’re millions of miles away, deep in their cores underneath all that layers of earth, minerals and sand, they know that they wouldn’t survive without each other. Yahoo! Time na.. but I’m still hungry.

Knowing that a Creator exists changes everything in our outlook and worldview. It should inspire us to honor Him more than we would honor any woman or man for any human achievement. It should also cause us to seek Him, to earnestly desire a relationship with Him. The reality of God as a Creator compels us to investigate the world He created with greater confidence and to understand His nature and character. All the beauty, grandeur, and provision on the planet should produce a gratitude that overwhelms us. This is the spirit of evangelism that sends us out with a message of love, hope, and reconciliation, not hate and division.
