“I have my moments.” The last thing he wanted was to go back, time was supposed to go forward, not back, everything that happened was to happen, it brought him to Carmen and then centuries later brought them both to Lelia. “Yes, yes I think you would, you would think that some lesser warlock or demon was trying to make their life more interesting posing as you and a fight would certainly break out. And to think if past me, kissed current you? I shudder to think of it.” He says with a mocking smile but he could see the scene playing out perfectly. “Remember that snobby gem dealer in Rome? I’m thinking bigger than that. I happen to remember a story about a large collection of jewels being housed in some too rich for taste businessman’s penthouse. We got the information too late and he already had them moved to a high tech vault and we were on our way out of the country. I’m thinking a do over.”
A slow pout began to form as he spoke, mainly because he wasn’t at all wrong. That is exactly what she would think, and if past him kissed current her, she would still consider it a betrayal. “So what you’re saying is, you wouldn’t even notice it wasn’t past me? You’d cheat on me, with me?” Twisting his words, she feigned a scoff and offended look, but she was only messing around. “Two women in your life and you’re still insatiable, shame on you.” A grin finally broke out, bubbling into a soft laugh as she locked her arms around his waist, resting her chin on his chest and looking up at him tentatively as he spoke. “A do over.” Carmen hummed, mentally picturing those exact jewels in her mind brought a sparkle to her brown orbs. “I’m in,” as if she ever wouldn’t be. She’d felt really put out when they got moved and they missed their chance to steal them. “He only has them so he can say he does. Doesn’t even appreciate them.” So really, the jewels would be much better off with them, right?
