McKenna couldn’t stop the eye roll as a smile formed across her lips at his words. “Of course,” she stated with a laugh. “Why does that even surprise me?” The smile dropped for a second as she studied the male’s face for a moment. “Are you sure, Beck,” she questioned, unsure for a moment. “I mean I don’t want to impose. I don’t know what kind of life you’ve got here, which clearly, you’ve got one. You don’t have like a… Past girlfriend, do ya? Not gonna have some girl poking around here at some point?”
The brunette was quick to look through the movies he had the second he let go of her hand. She paused for a moment to look over her shoulder, a huge grin crossing her lips again. “Popcorn and water if you’ve got it,” she spoke before turning back to the movies. Before grabbing Texas Chainsaw Massacre. “Got it,” she stated, holding it up.
Beckett didn't like being in the past but he wasn't about to walk around randomly. Having a job helped with that as well as connected him with the time.
"I don't have any past girlfriend," he thought about it for a moment. He didn't have any girlfriends in the future either. Probably more to do with how he treated people than anything else. "So you don't have to worry about that. I doubt anyone is going to be popping into this place." Except him who would be teleporting in and out all the time.
He nodded as he knew he could handle that. "You don't think I have water," he said as he walked in with two waters bottles and a bag of popcorn.
