Welcome to Carmilla Series Daily!

This is a Dracula Daily-inspired project dedicated to bringing the cult classic lesbian vampire webseries Carmilla and its canon transmedia to your dashboard in chronological order.

One of the most charming qualities of the “little webseries that could” was the way fans could interact with the show and characters in real time. This project intends to recreate the magic and allow Carmilla fans new and old to experience the series the way we did when it first premiered eight years ago. So let’s time travel back to 2014 and let the story unfold. Buckle up, Creampuffs!

Hi friends. Apologies for the radio silence from this blog lately. I’ve received a few asks recently asking if this project is still going, and unfortunately, the answer is that Carmilla Series Daily is currently on an unplanned hiatus.

I really wanted to have everything queued up and ready to post for season 2, but due to a multitude of factors (starting too late, changes to both tumblr and twitter that make setting up the posts more difficult, just not having the time and motivation to keep going, etc.), it became harder and harder to stay on top of all of the posts until the queue ran out and the whole project slipped away from me.

I know that quite a few of you were really enjoying the nostalgia of reliving the Carmilla Series posts in order, and I’m sorry I’m not able to keep that going right now. It’s been really touching to see just how many people still have an interest in the series or are discovering it for the first time. I’d love to continue this project in the future, perhaps next year for the show’s tenth anniversary, but for now just know that much like the characters in the show, my love for Carmilla Series will never die.
