It had been a few weeks since Sophia had landed back in safe keeping from the D.U.P.’s horrifying clutches. Much more sturdy than when arriving, the redhead wandered around the house, trying to find something to do... something to feel useful. Being down for so long made her feel less than optimistic about staying under Reggie’s wonderful, and extremely protective, care. She could barely move before he started fretting about ‘wearing herself down’ or ‘bugging a wound.’ It was sweet, but she wondered when that would die down.

Not only that, things hadn’t been quite the same after the whole ordeal of her reappearing. Especially after the ‘L word’ was brought up. The other seemed so... unsure? Distant? She couldn’t put her finger on it; every time she tried to bring it up, the office seemed to call, or something got in the way. Alas, she did her best to put it off. She finally spotted some dirty dishes in the sink, wandering over as quiet as she could, and started to get them loaded up in the dishwasher.
