Kids are allowed to be interested in the macabre and dark and horror and slasher films and so on. Idk why FR thinks that any and all suffering is bad for kids to see, like I'm legitimately curious. As a kid I had a whole group who would get together and watch scary movies anytime we had sleep overs. I know many, many people who also did as kids. Scream, Friday the 13th, Twilight Zone, Goosebumps, the whole thing. I'm really not totally convinced it's about the rating or about kids.

You know, sometimes I think about how one day in 2015, FR devs went “listen what if we add different colors to our colors” and so PoiTox were created and pretty much started a completely new era in Flight Rising gene/dragon design. I may not be a huge fan of PoiTox themselves but I always appreciate them for being the genes that started the “accent” gene trend.

(Also I now realized that PoiTox are almost 5 years old and my brain does a bad job processing that)

Rage The Shroud

There’s nothing quite like cleaning one’s dagger in the wash basin of your target. Rage’s sharp blue eyes examine every crevice of the ornate silver thing, his own long thumbclaws unsoiled. He dips it back under the running water to clean off the smallest imperfection before drying it on a pristine white cloth by the side of it. He strides languidly around the little corner of the lair, picking and choosing what to ‘borrow’ from the corpse in the next room. Rage is a beautiful, relaxed Ridgeback. His half-lidded eyes sharp and alert. He’s the lead singer of the entertainers and second in command to Fussa. He’s also the most efficient and well-trained assassin the Revelers have. While Icthanil rarely calls on him, it’s only rarely, not never. Some people simply have to disappear, and there’s no one who can cause ‘accidents’ the way he can with such speed and stealth. When he’s not on an assignment, however, Rage is a delightful part of the clan. He’s often out and about, helping Tracer with preparations for shows, writing music, or adding to his hoard of temporary property. He’s a ridgeback through and through; dust baths, hydrophobia, borrowing, and all.

Fun fact, it’s an actual hairstyle called a pompadour.

The way I drew it is pretty stylized and most people don’t have their hair long in the back, too, but it’s entirely possible even with physics. It takes some careful cutting and some strong hair spray, but it exists. It’s actually how I want my hair to look once I grow the back out.

Awyn The Warden of Ends

Soft spoken, mysterious, cold... Strange eyes bore into your skull. Eyes that you're certain think you belong in chains--or worse, frozen for eternity in the Fortress of Ends. Awyn regards others not of the Archive or of Ice flight with the same solid distain as one regards an escaped prisoner. Fitting, for an Exalted dragon of Ice.

Awyn is the stern, heavy handed leader of the Archive, and the overseer of all entities held there. His duty is to observe and rank anomalies present in Sorneith and determine if they're dangerous enough to be sent off with Gaolers to the Fortress or if imprisonment in the Archive is sufficient. He keeps a well organized and regularly updated log of anything and anyone to enter the Archive. Many suspect he was born to light before he was exalted, for all his studiousness.

To those of the Archive, another face of the stern man is known. The man who shrugged off an assassination attempt and yet let the would-be assassin continue working under him. The man who adopted Quill for all the opossum's wildness. The cool touch of a rich blue glove to reassure when something goes wrong. A fool mistakes it for weakness. Awyn's kindness comes in actions, never from his mouth.

Cavity is a strange beast of the Cirque Des Fantômes, but she’s a valuable one. She handles and trains those aspiring to serve their great Mother of Lies, the Shadowbinder. Where she came from, who she is, it doesn’t matter. Your tells are too obvious, stop fidgeting so much.
