Walking a beach at sunsetā¦priceless
Nothing is romantic by itself. Not sunsets. Not candlelight. Not music. Not wine.
Romance begins when two people see what the other sees, hear what the other hears, smell what the other smells, taste what the other tastes and feel what the other feels.
And in that moment, each silently knows:
You see what I see.
You hear what I hear.
You smell what I smell.
You taste what I taste.
You feel what I feel.
Romance does not live in things, locations or moments. It lives in shared experience.
And intimacy is the deepest form of that shared experience.

Miss being at the beachā¦
Love the shapes shadows make!
Those moments where nothing else matters!
Also never had that many beersā¦lol!
Sometimes I need time on my own because itās the one space where everything quiets down enough for me to hear myself again. When I step away from the noise, expectations, and constant motion of other peopleās needs, I can reconnect with what Iām feeling, what I want, and what I might be avoiding. Solitude gives me room to breathe without performing, to reset without guilt, and to remember who I am outside of anyone elseās orbit.
Personal time isnāt about shutting people outāitās about making sure I donāt lose myself while showing up for them. Itās the pause that keeps me grounded, the reset that keeps me balanced, and the space where I can refill the parts of me that daily life drains. When I honor that need, I come back clearer, calmer, and more fully myself.
