I heard the podcasts and I have not been able to choose an opinion.

The only thing I’m 100% sure, is that Reilly Opelka didn’t have anything to be talking about selling tickets to HIS matches

#like I get the point of this being a business #and honestly doubles doesn’t sell tickets #and how the money will apparently go to 50-150 single tennis players #but also they made a really good point about the lack of exposure for single players #so for me there has to be first changes to be made before the chop half of them #if there’s going to be half the spots #imagine then single players taking spots from the double players #but at the same time sometimes people watch doubles because their favorite single player is playing #i mean im going to montreal and the advertising for the double matches is all about the single players playing doubles #they need to attract people to doubles just as they do to singles #because honestly right now that’s not happening #and reilly should just shut up because he’s not the right person to be talking #although all this fight is giving them attention because a lot dont like Reilly

I am very concerned for the women who won't end up passing these tests (not even only trans women, if there are any, but also intersex women) because it's going to be made public and they are going to be harassed. It's such a horrible move by the wta. They, as always, don't care about their players' safety.
