What the heck was that?
Ok, so itâs been a little over a year since my last post. The world sure has changed and the change continues. It seems quite surreal if I let myself think about it too much. Itâs been a year of limited possibilities, and full of challenges and disappointments. In January, I made my first sourdough starter and baked some pretty delicious breads. In February, I was gosh darned sick for 2 weeks.âŠ

Home again! We were able to return home after more than 2 weeks of a wildfire evacuation order. Our house stands and we are so grateful. Many families in our small mountain communities have lost so much. My heart breaks for their losses. Fires still burn and the sky is quite smoky. Burned leaves, ash and even this large burned out ember are seen on every outdoor surface. Our zone, BOU-011, is still under an evacuation warning.
