DATE AND CAUSE OF DEATH:
May 2nd, 1998: Killed by a Death Eater during the Battle of Hogwarts.
REACTION TO ODD BEHAVIOUR IN STUDENTS:
Roger's very well aware that something is up within Hogwarts. He can see the way people are looking at him, hear the shock and hesitation in their voices as they talk to him. He's noticed the hushed conversations between concerned students and the sudden silences when said students see him, and Roger is growing increasingly irritated about it. He sees it as rude, and wishes this odd behaviour would just stop.
As curious as he is to know what's going on, Roger has no intentions on trying too hard to find out what it is -- he isn't one for gossip, and feels that if it's something he absolutely needs to know, someone will tell him. For now, he's doing his best to brush off the strange behaviour and instead focusing on studying for his NEWTs and keeping his Quidditch team in good shape. After all, it is one of the most important years for Roger; he can't be spending his time worrying about silly little schoolkids and their odd behaviour.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Roger is simply one of those people that others just like. His laid-back and friendly personality attracts people to him without him needing to make much of an effort, and his natural charm makes it very easy to get along with him. Roger was raised to treat others with respect, and he certainly lives up to this. Only when provoked would Roger ever break out of his friendly attitude, and even then, he isn't too much of a threat. Of course, there's a streak of aggression within him, however he tries to keep this strictly for the Quidditch pitch -- particularly for matches against the vicious Slytherin team. It's not often that one would come across Roger when he's in a bad mood, simply because if in such a mood, he'll push away whatever's bothering him as soon as he sees someone approaching him. Roger certainly isn't one to talk about his emotions, and keeps them very reserved, mostly because he feels whatever problems pop up for him aren't worth fussing over.
When it comes to those he considers close to him, Roger is fiercely loyal to his friends. He'd take a killing curse for them without a second thought, and can be counted on to lend an ear whenever they need it. He may not seek advice, but Roger is definitely good at giving it. Much like a stereotypical Ravenclaw, Roger's a very intelligent young man, and makes sure to work hard when it comes to his studies so he can keep his grades high. This doesn't mean he doesn't allow time for a social life, though -- when he doesn't have homework or Quidditch taking up his time, he'll happily spend his time around his friends, bringing life wherever he goes and genuinely being the life of the party.
