Your swimmers need an egg to get to. if she didn't ovulate your swimmers don't do shit. and tbh, a woman only has one day a month to have a high chance of getting pregnant. you gotta time it right, shawn.

shawnmendes: just like her parents, sassy as hell. makes sure she never loses that. dm: i know and she stays stressed out between negative tests and work. i'm climbing on her every chance i get. i'm not working so i'm here all the time to give her all the sex she can handle. what if we can't get pregnant? i don't want her to blame herself.

sabrinafriedman: i would be a bad mama, and she would be mad at me for waking her up. dm: it takes time. it's not an overnight process. it took max and i a few months before we got pregnant with nova. it'll happen when it happens and her stressing about it probably doesn't help her body either. I can talk to her about it, but i might wait a day or two since it's her bday. i don't want her to rui her day. and no, i don't think either of you ened to get tested yet. it's not like you've been trying for years. it's only been what, a couple months?

shawnmendes: i love how good you are with her. she would and she would cry and tell you all about it. dm: we just want it so bad and it's taking forever. now she's on her press tour and that's more stress. i'm spoiling her for her birthday but i appreciate you more then you know. yeah, a couple of months but i thought i would have kickass swimmers. i'm impatient but hopefully we'll have good news soon.

shawnmendes: i said kiddinggggg! you would be a bad mama if you did that and you're a great mama. maybe! can always take her to your mom's for sexy time and then go back and pick her up. dm: we're still trying but so far, nothing. i think joey's freaking out. if you could talk to her, i would appreciate it. reassure her that nothings wrong with her. you think we should go get tested to make sure we can have kids? i could be the problem.

shawnmendes: just make her get up at 3am so you can keep cuddling her. i'm kidding. i'm sure it will be weird at first but you'll get used to it.

sabrinafriedman: sometimes i can't wait for nova to start sleeping through the night, but i feel like i'll miss the middle of the night/early morning cuddles with her.

"It's not an old wives tale. I asked my mom. Stress can mess with your levels and throw everything off balance." She took a few deep breaths and tried to calm herself back down. He was right. She needed to stop putting so much pressure on it but she didn't know how. She had always been competitive. Even with herself. Joey looked up at her husband and smiled, "I love you. So much. I know sometimes I get a little crazy and insecure but I never mean it. I know how you feel about me. How much you love me. You show me all the time. You always knoe what to say to bring me back to level." She knew she wasn't always the easiest person to deal with but he had made it clear he wasn't going anywhere. She laughed and nodded, "Yeah. I just need a distraction. Something else to focus on. Maybe I'll start planning the wedding with our families. We're already married so less stress about making the day perfect and it'll distract me from my empty womb." She poked at her stomach as she glared at it again.

Stress can affect your whole body and kill you if you're not careful. If you're stressed then it's time to take a step back or quit whatever it is that's stressing you out. The last thing Shawn wanted was for Joey to stress over becoming a mom. He would prefer they never become parents if it was going to stress her out and cause physical or fatal issues. "If it happens, it happens but no matter what I love you and we can be happy with or without kids. All that matters is we have each other." Shawn shrugged, he could get crazy and insecure too and felt that was normal. No one was perfect but he wanted to be for her. "I do love you, more then I have ever loved anyone and no matter what, you're enough." A distraction would be good and they did need to work on the wedding. "I think that's a great idea. Everyone loves a wedding and we already did the scary part." He said with a laugh as he kissed her. "It wasn't scary at all because we love each other and had wanted this for awhile. Whatever I can do to help, I will. And if you want to take a trip and get your mind off things while we plan then we can do that too."
