Watford is having a non-magical talent show and Simon signs up (maybe cause Baz signed up and he needs to keep an eye on bazs plotting). Becomes a bit of a joke/speculation on what simons talent possibly could be, is he gonna go-off, do backflips, sword moves? Everyone expects it to relate to his fighting/chosen one skills. When its finally time for the show he surprises everyone by singing cause nobody expected it or the fact he's really good. Baz mentally freaks out about it because he doesnt know how to function with this new information now.

Simon works as a babysitter (either to make some extra cash while in school, cause he's in-between jobs, or maybe he works as a nanny) and he meets Baz by being hired to watch his siblings.
Bonus if Simon meets Baz first and thinks he's the father.
If going with Simon babysitting while in school, having Baz suddenly run into him constantly on campus after Simon's been hired would also be hilarious.

The votes are in! Looks like most of you liked Davy’s overinflated ego plate idea best, with Simon and SSR tied for second (Baz would be so upset! lol).

simon falls off his bed and hits his head, and as he's laying there on the floor with baz making snarky remarks, he figures it's time to prank baz. so he pretends he's lost his memory and doesn't know baz, nor who he is. and then he gets to watch in real time as baz lets his mask fall and become this caring loving person as he tries to help Simon up

simon is constantly following baz and trying to spy on him, but failing miserably because baz can always see or hear him. so to make him uncomfortable and make him stop, and also because he thinks it's a bit hot, he decides to start wanking one day when Simon is "spying" on him

Simon and baz have gotten a bit closer during their truce, and baz, in a desperate attempt to not snog Simon silly, starts dating a guy that looks like Simon, but not quite right. he's posher and more polite, has more of a clean look, curls tamed and not a single freckle to be found. simon realises then that he sort of has a crush on baz, and noticing the similarity between him and baz's bf, he starts changing aspects of himself to resemble the guy; so he uses gel on his hair and combs it, wears his jeans on weekends instead of the school uniform, and even attempts a spell to get rid of his moles and freckles. baz is going insane over it because simon is starting to look less and less like himself

Baz gets fed up with playing the villian, so figuring Simon would never actually take him seriously, believing it to be some plot, Baz stops pretending and genuinely flirts with him.
Simon at first is taken aback and doesn't really know how to react so everytime a fight would start hed end up walking away beat red and confused. After a few times/days the flirting pisses him off because he does think it's a plot but it also flusters him so he always runs away. Eventually he doesn't have the energy to try fighting Baz because Baz isn't fighting back, so he starts responding to bazs attempts at flirting, which then flusters Baz. It's only after a talk with penny does it actually click for Simon that he actually likes flirting with Baz, and likes this more then fighting, so next time Baz and him run into eachothet Simon kisses him or asks him out

Someone casts "there's a thin line between love and hate" on Simon and Baz to make them stop fighting. The spell causes feelings of hate to turn to love and vice versa. But it makes them start fighting much more viciously than before, to everyone's surprise, and they have some figuring out to do when the spell wears off.

Fiona doesn't find Baz. So when he would've returned to Watford, he's assumed dead and they announce his passing to the Watford students. Simon doesn't believe he's dead, his rationale being that bazs mother still came looking for him, wouldn't she know if he was dead?
Simon loses his shit and tries to find Baz, of course nobody believes Baz is alive so he gets penny to help by thinking Baz was murdered. She's the one who said people murdered those suspected of getting a visiting to keep secrets. They find Baz a few weeks later then in Canon, and Simon is beyond relieved that Baz is still alive.

Deniall fic during or after the leavers ball. One of them (probably Dev but could be either) is complaining to the other about how Baz had wasted their years at Watford supposedly hating Simon. Only to find out Baz was in love with and now dating his roommate. Pretty much complaining about how they should've just confessed sooner and saved them all from wasting their school years. So the one who wasn't complaining uses that to segue into confessing themselves. Turns out the one who'd been complaining was only complaining cause they were jealous of Baz thinking only he was lucky enough to fall for his roommate and have his feelings returned.
