i want passionate people in my life SO BADLY. i want to travel and do fun, wild, memorable things with people. i want to have great conversations about love and relationships and poetry, things that just set your soul on fire. i donât want to waste my 20s thinking that nobody is the same as me and wants the same things that i do. i need friends that are the same as me. i crave deep human connection so fucking badly. i need people that are willing to get up and leave everything behind just for once in a lifetime experiences. i know there are people like me out there. there has to be.Â

There are times in your life when being alone becomes the normality. Itâs so hard to meet people when you donât feel any connection to anyone, but the loneliness gets worse when you stop trying. Maybe youâve convinced yourself that you enjoy your solitude. You think that itâs just the way it is because maybe there is something wrong with you or maybe youâre just meant to be alone. But believe me when I say that you need to feel connected, even if itâs something little like smiling with a stranger or catching up an old friend. The worst thing you can do is convince yourself that youâre naturally alone or you simply donât belong, because there are people out there who share your interests and thoughts, who wish at night to have a friend like you, who would love and care about you unconditionally if they ever met you. Be open to new people because you never know how much they could change your life.
feeling lost isnât a bad thing. no one has it all figured out. self discovery is a journey and you donât have to find yourself to be truly happy. life is meaningful if you make it be and create your own meaning out of things. think about who you would want to be, if you could do anything and if no one around you put pressures on you. think about what makes you happiest and what makes you want to get up in the morning. think about your dreams. whether you want to make art, travel the world, have a relaxed life, decorate your own home, protect animals, plant flowers, create your own photo collection, meet new people, go skydiving, be an inspiration, learn new things every day, explore forests, create your own masterpieces, move to Paris, make people happy, or make yourself happy. what makes you feel the most fulfilled: love, possessions, excitement, novelty, beauty, intelligence, comfort or meaning? itâs ok to be lost because finding yourself is the fun part.
