“The one who writes poetry and the one who cries all the time.”
OKAY. I have a lot of feelings about this and lots of new headcanons about the Quagmires while they’re in Olaf’s clutches.
•Isadora hides her fear better than Duncan does in front of Olaf.
•Duncan has cried in front of Olaf at least once (but I mean probably not that often – Olaf exaggerates)
•Isadora is very protective of Duncan, and she has gotten into arguments with Olaf and his troupe on multiple occasions as, having the vast vocabulary of a poet, she is very capable of making Olaf feel like the idiot he is. (Fernald is the only one who doesn’t mind her – Isadora reminds him of his sister a little bit)
•The above roles are reversed, however, when Olaf and his troupe aren’t around, and Duncan comforts Isadora while she cries.

“Who spotted us?” Klaus asked. “Quigley Quagmire, of course,” she said. “He found you in the Mortmain Mountains, and then managed to contact me when you were separated from him. He and I managed to meet each other in an abandoned bathrobe emporium, where we disguised ourselves as mannequins while we figured out what to do next.”
