yall need to understand yeah I got a zune last year so I could curate my music experience a little better. but the REAL reason I got a Zune (Microsoft's competitor device to the iPod) is because I had a vivid dream I was going on a trip somewhere and and needed to pack my Zune (which I never had in my life) then I spent a week obsessively searching for the right one online (Zune 30GB, Pink). When I found it on ebay I offered them like $40 under asking price with a note saying "I dreamt about owning this" and the seller accepted in less than 30 secs. once I got it I resurrected latent software engineering skills to get the zune software to work on win11 operating system in order to upload my own music to supplement the lovely preloaded content (which included Fergies Duchess album??) only to learn that the sub reddit was literally right there and I wasn't alone or even slightly crazy in my Zune obsession.

all that to say: don't let your dreams be dreams.
