Speaking of last night, Jill took us to her local spot and we were blown away with hospitality and delicious food. This nabe is the best thing I've eaten in a minute. Kimchi, leeks, pork, tofu, fried tofu, garlic, bean sprouts, and lots of mushrooms. So many thank yous to @gbroshiro and @gbrostomo. (at 餃子BAR G-BROS)

Bandele “Tex” Ajetunmobi

I'm very excited to have had the honor to work on the Women Who Shape The State story in the November issue of @bhammag. I'll be posting a few of my favorite portraits of these inspiring women, starting with Tanveer Patel. Beyond her business leadership in the medical field, she is also a cofounder and president of the Red Crescent Clinic of Alabama, a volunteer-run, free clinic open to everyone every Sunday. Pick up the issue to see 30 stories of women shaping Alabama.

Every time I run across this photo I am reminded of how much I love it and how much I enjoy shooting at waist-level. Gotta get my Rollei fixed (though this was shot on an RZ). At the Cumberland River Compact in February of 2008 for Regions Bank. Art direction by Marion Powers and Mandy Meredith.

This is an outtake from #where_you_come_from_is_gone, a body of work made as part of the @gusdugger collaborative project with @jaredragland and me. This plate is at the former site of Turkeytown, one of the most important Cherokee cities in our region, circa 250 years ago.
