During my last month of cooperating with the student body, I was handling the project of relocating the smoke-free zone. The initiative required me to connect with the members of the student community and hear them out. Later I had the opportunity to represent them before the teachers and discuss the issue with the school council. I like getting involved with those types of projects, and it saddens me that it will be my last one. As my journey with the student body ends I begin to understand the value of this engagement and how much satisfaction it provided me with.

Still, as often as I can, I try to go on walks, longer and shorter ones. Today I took a not-so-long stroll, but I am happy with the distance that I managed to walk.

Finally, after weeks on weeks of work, I finally finished my "Venus" sculpture! Just yesterday I painted the sculpture and coated it with a clear varnish, so today it is truly ready. It was a lengthy project, but I got a lot of experience in working with both plaster and wire. I feel that this project was challenging and allowed me to develop some new art skills. Overall, I am happy with how it turned out.

As of this week, I am almost completely done with my long-term "Venus" project. I have successfully finished putting plastered bandages on the wire base and although I am not super proud with the technique I used applying them at first, though I still feel like it improved through out the piece, and overall I am happy with the medium that I chose.

Due to the workload that I am experiencing at school, this week I only managed to squeeze in one longer walk, although I try to go on as many walks as I can, in my day-to-day life, even if I don't document them.

Since finishing the wire skeleton of my sculpture, in the past week I have begun the process of covering it with plaster-soaked bandages. It is a new technique that I was very excited to explore, and although it wasn't completely intuitive at first, I'm getting more familiar with it as I work.

This week I finally managed to complete the first phase of my "Venus" sculpture, finishing the wire structure. I learned a lot about working with wire as a medium and gradually got better at weaving it, which can be seen in later parts of the sculpture. I'm glad I got to experience this new art form and I can see myself coming back to it someday. However, the project is still not done, I still plan to cover the structure with plaster.

These days, even though I'm extremely busy with school work, I still try to go on walks as often as I can. Although I can't do it daily, as I once could, I tried to substitute the more often short strolls with longer, more challenging walks.

As the week goes by, I managed to further advance my progress on the wire sculpture. Now that I come closer to the end, I came upon a dilemma wether I should put plaster on the piece. I still haven't made up my mind, but the process of the following weeks will most likely push me towards a decision.

This week, I feel like I am approaching the finish line with this wire project, more than ever. I'm truly excited for the finish effect and I love how comfortable (and much quicker) I've gotten with the wiring technique!

During my winter holidays trip to Italy I managed to ski quite a bit. Since I recently had a chance to ski, I felt quite comfortable doing and had an opportunity to challange myself, by taking on a few challenging slopes and working on my speed. I love skiing and I am always happy to make some progress in this sport.

As I continue working on my sculpture, this week I feel like I made actual progress. I finally managed to leave the leg area. I also feel much better with my wiring technique.

Lately, I'm still involved with working on my wire sculpture. The process is rather lengthily, but with each week I am feeling more comfortable with the technique and I believe that the final effect will be worth the wait.

The whole month of January I spent working on my CAS project. It was centered around organizing prom. it was a very challenging task, that required a lot of comprehensive planning, research, and collaboration with parents, students and even teachers. We faced a lot of "bumps on the road" and crisis, but by believing in our goal and group cooperation, we still managed to throw an amazing prom in the midst of the pandemic. Hearing how much everyone loved this experience, I am very proud of the work we did and I loved being able to give back to the school community, although it wasn't easy at all.

ACTIVITY REFLECTION #3

Lately, although I didn't get to pursue regular activity, due to a work overload, I managed to complete a few more extreme challenges, and provide myself with bigger loads of physical exercise, although less often. I feel like I could definitely gain from more regular activity in the future, but I still know that I did my best, and still managed to reach some satisfactory achievements, sports wise.

SERVICE REFLECTION #3

As a member of the students council and the Spokeswoman for Student's Rights, the last months have been quite eventful. We managed to successfully sell and distribute new, school hoodies. As the SfSR, I got a chance to carry out a few, last in my career, interventions. I also got a chance to set up the elections and tour the classes, enticing them to run for the spokesman position. Though, those task were new and rather challenging, I'm happy with the way they carried out, and glad I had a great team to work with. The ending of my term has also made me reflect on my execution of the SfSR, especially while I was telling the other students about its implications.

CREATIVITY REFLECTION #3

This past months, I managed to close a few projects and start a new one. I also got to explore a bunch new techniques. I feel like I am growing and developing as an artist. I probably should improve my pace, to be able to work through projects more quickly. I love getting to know new ways to create artworks and I'm excited to get better in the new techniques!
