      “well, to be fair,” casey puffs up her cheeks then exhales almost comically. “i’ve only seen the movies. well, i’ve seen some of the potter stuff, and i fell asleep half an hour into the first lord of the rings, so i guess i partially saw it, but i’m guessing the main dude became the lord of the ring or something,” she shrugs.

He’d been out to the club for a while now - so long, that he couldn’t even begin to tell just how long. His buzz was still running high, and the loud music pounding in his ears thrummed through his body, influencing the drug and the drinks currently in his system, and honestly, Travis felt amazing. His face was slightly flushed from the alcohol and the exertion of dancing, but he felt great and more than a little alive. He loved that feeling - it was pure bliss.

Stumbling slightly to the bar, in order to get himself another drink, he bumped into someone, and he had to grab the nearby counter to steady himself. “Sorry…Hey, you wouldn’t happen t’know what time it is, would you?” Travis asked in a slight slur, knowing he had work sometime the next day (though he couldn’t remember at that particular moment what day it actually was, or even what time he had to go in, in the first place). He didn’t want to leave, but he also knew that if he didn’t at some point, he never would until he was forced to leave. In any case, he was still going to order another drink, first. Just one more.

      “you know, if you wanted to ask me to dance you could have just used words instead of the whole ‘accidental bump’ thing,” she air-quotes, automatically teasing the male in return. “it’s...” she lifts her wrist and squints at the clock face - the light is absolutely terrible in this place so seeing the hands is proving to be difficult - but then... “phone!” she lifts her phone from the counter in front of her and presses the button, the screen then bursts into life and displays the time. “would you look at that, it’s shots o’clock - you in?”

      “if i remember correctly, i said oh my god, don’t do that and then you did that, so...” she laughs, sipping her own drink while she watches the other. “but fine, next round’s on me.”

      “a moment on the lips is a lifetime on the hips,” casey adds matter-of-factly, a hand waving through the air as she talks. “i mean, it isn’t as poetic, but i sure as hell live -- actually, no - no i don’t. at least i tried.”

{CASEY DELGADO} looks a lot like {ODETTE ANNABLE}! the {TWENTY-EIGHT YEAR OLD}, {FEMALE} is a {POLICE OFFICER}. they can be {COMPASSIONATE & HUMOROUS} but also {FORGETFUL & RECKLESS}. for the past {THREE YEARS}, chicago has been their home.

since she’s an old character, i still have a bio up of her and you can find that HERE - most of it is staying the same so i figured there’s no need to write it all out again, though a few details here and there are gonna be a bit different to fit the chicago aspect of it.

she’s still out to become a person in her own right rather than that which her parents are trying to make her.

she has a super dorky sense of humour and never really knows when to shut up? the only time that does seem to happen is when she’s sad or not feeling well... yup, she even talks in her sleep, it’s ridiculous tbh.

healthy eating? never heard of it. casey has a naturally high metabolism so she’s never really had to worry about that kind of thing, she much prefers to dine on pizza and kebabs than suffer through a salad. she’s literally the cops eat doughnuts stereotype, bonus points if it has sprinkles on them.

now that she’s living a life of her own, she tends to take every opportunity thrown her way... regardless of consequence. she didn’t get to experience much as a child so tends to just be a sponge and absorb as much as she can.

you’d think that someone would have their apartment in order after three years - nope, not this woman. she still has some stuff in boxes and she still lives with the vague belief that her now earned freedom might not last long so is ready to up and leave if needed.

still a very good cop, just... she’s a lot to handle, especially when on patrol and stuck in a car with her, but she means well. she’s just... she’s excited to finally be able to be free of her parents and she often forgets to chill around others.
