Would you sit atop the Burj Khalifa?
This is currently the tallest building in the world which frankly looks fake. Unfortunately it's not:
What you sit at the top? And no, not some observation deck but the actual top?
I don't like heights to begin with but I swear I had nightmares just like this as a little kid.
IBM computer to compete on Jeopardy!

Myers-Briggs personality type
I was just reminded of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in a comment on Marginal Revolution. It essentially is a test to categorize the 16 different psychological types based on the work of Carl Jung. I retook the test which if you'd like to take is here, and was blown away in how close it pinned down my personality. I got personality type INTP:
I – Introversion preferred to extraversion: INTPs tend to be quiet and reserved. They generally prefer interacting with a few close friends rather than a wide circle of acquaintances, and they expend energy in social situations (whereas extraverts gain energy).
N – iNtuition preferred to sensing: INTPs tend to be more abstract than concrete. They focus their attention on the big picture rather than the details, and on future possibilities rather than immediate realities.
T – Thinking preferred to feeling: INTPs tend to value objective criteria above personal preference. When making decisions, they generally give more weight to logic than to social considerations.
P – Perception preferred to judgment: INTPs tend to withhold judgment and delay important decisions, preferring to "keep their options open" should circumstances change.

Obama, wikileaks and justice
Why are so many libertarians outraged about the developments over the Wikileaks issue:
To recap "Obama justice": if you create an illegal worldwide torture regime, illegally spy on Americans without warrants, abduct people with no legal authority, or invade and destroy another country based on false claims, then you are fully protected. But if you expose any of the evils secretly perpetrated as part of those lawless actions -- by publishing the truth about what was done -- then you are an Evil Criminal who deserves the harshest possible prosecution.

Kevin Bacon as Kevin Bacon's greatest fan
This is a commercial for Logitech Revue with Google TV. It's a great commercial that hopefully more companies will emulate.
