The annual tournament from Jackson Hole is back, going straight down the hardest run in America. It starts off with a 2-9 yard drop down depending on your entrance and the snow fall of the year. That then leads to a less steap straight down the run with rocks in the way formed into jumps now. The average person will come up to the edge slowly and try to scale down the first drop slowly. These people competing get a running jump up to the edge throwing themselves off in a spectacular flip and spin combo causing any sane person to think, “What the fuck”, or “how”, or even “holy shit”. It always draws a massive crowd leaving everyone watching speechless. I am quite pumped to watch this event. I hope ya’ll watch as well.

X Games is back

Starting January 29-31the world of action sports kicks back off in a big way for 2021 with X Games Aspen. It seems we get X Games back in Aspen almost every year. I am not complaining they put on a great show every time. They are going to be having the big snow events between skiing and snowboarding like usual. I am mostly excited for the knuckle huck event between the skiing and the snowboarding both. The use of the landing on a jump to go large is so much more impressive to me then to use the jump. There is no real rules that go along with this event. There is no determined jumping distance or trick type that must be done. Last years ski event in Norway I feel like Henrik got robbed out of a first place medal. He had the best style and the double backie off the knuckle was such a huge jump. He is invited back this time for the event as well. I hope to see him get a gold this year with his style.
