Hi Kris, I never really liked cyclops' current costume, but the way you draw him especially with the red glow on the piping it looks so cool. How did you come up with the idea to do that and how do you achieve that effect?

the simplest answer is I’m obsessed with tron legacy. so anytime i see piping in general, my initial gut reaction is to make it glow. and with cyclops having “light” powers, it just made sense to me.

my approach is i keep all the piping on cyclops a flat colour, and apply an airbrush layer  of the same colour as the red over it set to “overlay”
