It'll be a year soon since I've gotten Casper, and it's hard to believe it. He's just started to become a chatterbox. I'll have to post something about how his eyes progressively turned silver.

I lost my mama Meeko yesterday. 3/29/2021

Her heart stopped at the vet. She was only six.

Meeko was a loving little busbody. Absentminded and tender. She was the mother of five happy little accidents- beautiful little babies. She was timid and devastatingly gentle. She never bit- nothing harder than a nibble. I cradled her through every one of her frequent night frights, watched her raise and love her babies with her whole heart, watched her grow from a five month old begging for formula to a graceful, poised little mama. I'm shattered to know that while I never deserved her, she's now gone.

She left this world as quietly as she came into it. I hope with all my heart I get to meet her sweet little soul again. In this world or the next.

He was born March 8th, 2020- so he's now over 6 months!
