Ep 1 was very Siegfried/Audrey heavy so it is unlikely that ep 2 would focus as much on them. It's just that ep 1 was so perfect I'm kinda scared for Thursday now because I want a whole season like ep 1. although I am really looking forward for the rest of the season to be established

May I rant for a second? I'm going to rant.

I'm getting really pissed that good shows are getting cancelled for no reason. I'm so tired of watching shows, getting invested, and then out of nowhere having it ripped out from underneath me. We deserve to have media as art again. Shows like succession are beautiful displays of storytelling and creativity. They make you root for people who are awful, but you end up loving them. That is art. We deserve decent complete shows. Stop either making writers cram as much into a single season as possible or not allow them to finish writing their stories at all!

Les miserables marisette-valvert mamma mia au in which Cosette realised that her Papa hasn’t invited anyone to the wedding so she goes through some of his stuff and finds a letter or smth with the name of Inspector Javert so she invites him to the “super secret” hideaway they ended up going.

Javert arrives thinking he’s finally going to find Valjean with the overwhelming enthusiastic girl that greet him at the port and helped him hide in the barn. Valjean almost has a heart attack and asks (again) for three days so he doesn’t ruin the wedding with his past

Almost all the songs are the same, les amis do that funny dance at the quay like in “Lay all your love on me”, and are like the town folk. Marius is just confused

Valjean sings “time slipping through my fingers” to Cosette, and Javert a bit of a changed version of “our last summer” (bc of the walks along the Seine and all that)

As a plus, Grantaire and Enjolras sing “take a chance on me” and “Waterloo” also makes an appearance

Everyone ends up happy and living in an unknown island of Côte d'Azur
