     “Why are you suddenly asking for permission to do something? Don’t you usually just do and ask questions later?” Changsoo questioned a little bit as he stared at the male some with a raised brow and a matching curious expression, swallowing back a yawn that threatened to escape as he scratched at the side of his neck. “… Wait- what were you going to do? Don’t make a huge mess.”

     his amusement is apparent in the shine of his eyes, the corners of his lips tipped up into a smile even as the rim of his coffee cup meets them. there’s no denying that it had been taemin’s intention to trick the other man, and he enjoys the warmth of the beverage he sips at while he can, because his leisure is sure to be interrupted by the laughter that will follow. as expected, changsoo quickly catches on, and he’s soon tipping his own cup in the other’s direction as a wide grin lights up his features. “can i say that i can’t believe you fell for that?” he asks, but it’s all in good nature. besides, changsoo should have expected as much from him.

     Changsoo scoffed a little bit as he brought a hand up as if to backhand the male across the face, but of course he just smiled in the end and decided to swipe the others coffee out of his hands instead. The vocalist continued to walk forward as he took a small sip of Taemin’s drink, the smug aura he normally carried once again surrounding him. “I should just lock you out of my dorm as punishment. Where you left your own dorm keys. And your phone charger.” The dorm key probably wasn’t that big of a deal, but the phone charger? That was a whole different story. Maybe it was just a Changsoo thing but he couldn’t survive all that long without his phone, picking it up again the second that he had the chance so he could get into contact with all of his friends. He’d go nuts without the device.

❝ Oh geez, not again. ❞ This isn’t the first time the two friends were caught hanging out in public, and if their occasional socializing gives people the wrong impression and will soon turn into a scandal, she’ll be downright pissed. Not to mention, she would look dumb as hell if she’s wearing moose antlers on the front cover of a tabloid. Cora lets out a quiet sigh, visibly annoyed as she turns around, allowing him to guide her in whatever direction, as she had no clue where they were going whatsoever, and he probably had a better idea than she did. ❝ Really? Wow … see, this is why you can’t judge a book by its cover. I’m gonna call them meese, whatever. I’ll email the dictionary people about this. On a more important note, where are we going? ❞

     “Shit happens, at least they won’t think we’re dating- but god knows what else the tabloids will start to say about our friendship.” One of the only good things that came out of Changsoo outing himself publicly was that he finally wasn’t dating every single fucking girl he decided to have a social life with. Of course, that only meant that every dude he went near he was popping boners for or getting a crush on, so it wasn’t that much better-- but at least there was some sort of variety. He continued to keep a tight and rather protective hold on the female, not wanting anything to happen to her, especially not when he was there to protect her. “Email the Oxford dictionary people or something-- I’ll even sign the letter myself, or maybe we can start some sort of petition to get that to be a thing.”

“ i called and you didn’t answer. ”

     “Because I was peeing– do you enjoy hearing me pee?” His voice was teasing as he spoke into the speaker end of his phone, smiling broadly as he kept it pressed between his shoulder and his ear while he scrubbed his hands clean. “But I called you back so don’t get your pretty panties into a knot. Twist? I ‘unno how the saying goes but you know what I’m saying.” He somehow managed to shrug his shoulders despite needing to keep his phone fairly still so that it didn’t fall to his death either in the sink or the tile of the dorm room bathroom, hands shaking off a little bit over the sink as he used the heel to turn the water off. Grabbing a towel he quickly dried off his hands before absently tossing it aside, straightening his neck out just as he grabbed the electronic device. “So what’s up? I thought you’d be in practice around this time or something.”

『 — ♛ KOU WAS NEVER ONE to be able tell if someone was speaking a metaphor, or actually stating what they were literally saying. At most times, he took things to heart, believing in whatever he was told. But in this situation, he knew the other male was over exaggerating. Kou looked at things more logically than emotionally. He finds things more sufficient when things are more realistic because it made sense to him when the facts are thrown down on the table.

『 — ♛ RAISING AN EYEBROW AT the other male, he crosses his arms in front of his chest, nose scrunching up in disbelief. There was no way someone could actually step inside a closet and travel inside to see the future. Something like that was absurd for him to believe and there was no way he was going to take that as information inside of his head. Kou decides to take it as a metaphor, speaking about, god who knows what the guy was even taking about, but he needed a response. And a response he gave, “Why don’t you just step out of the closet and enjoy the presents now?”

     Shrugging a little bit at the others response he moved his eyes down to the iced coffee he had ordered for himself: black, no sugar or cream, and bitter beyond belief-- almost like himself, but that was a dark thought and not one that Changsoo was too keen on having for himself. “Oh, I went for the presents a while ago- but they were just coal wrapped in pretty bow. All lies.~” It was after that little comment that he actually started to laugh some under his breath, leaning his elbows on the table ( despite how insanely rude it was ) and wrapping his lips around the straw of his iced coffee so he could take a long drink, only straightening up once he had quenched his thirst momentarily. “But… I don’t regret it either.”

     Changsoo’s expression was rather bitter as he kept his eyes trailed outside of the coffee shop window, watching as the glass was pelted over and over again by the falling rain. The sky was dark and every once in awhile a small flash of light could be seen darting through the clouds before being followed by a low rumble of thunder, the storm that had been forecasted moving in much quicker than anyone had anticipated. But the vocalist didn’t mind, he found the rain to be soothing -- even if, at the moment, it was being more of a nuisance than anything at the moment, keeping him trapped in this coffee shop.

     He honestly didn’t mind all that much. He had started talking to whoever-the-fuck was beside him, a pretty young thing with a steaming cup of something pressed between thin fingers and a thin palm as well. He was just… thin. But it wasn’t a bad thin, not the kind where all you think about is force feeding someone a McDonald's cheeseburger, but the natural kind that was filled with lithe beauty and grace, the kind that could take someone's breath away. “I was so deep in the closet I could see the next four years of Christmas presents.” The words had come out almost as a joke after their long conversation about sexuality and social issues within politics, and somehow they had started talking about themselves.

     Changsoo nodded a little bit in agreement as he propped his feet up onto the coffee table some, the soles digging into the edge a bit as he absently curled and uncurled his toes, the joints popping some with every movement ( the aftermath of years of ballet it seemed, his feet were now all sorts of fucked up ). “All three of us are basically walking disasters so I don’t see why any of us should be attempting such a dangerous thing-- we’d all end up choking and dying during our debut stage and then bye bye Bubblegum Boys.”

     “Okay but I tried to do it recently and I literally just have... no excuse. None, and my body has to look top notch constantly because I seem to spend a majority of my time outside of a shirt.” The laugh that Changsoo let out was loud and full of truth, his smile wide as well. “I think it sounds like an amazing idea- but let’s do it with a tub of ice cream. We can be worried about our careers later yeah pretty lady? How about it: you, me, two spoons, and a huge tub of vanilla ice cream.”

There wasn’t much about wearing the false antlers, and it was definitely the wrong season to look like a reindeer, but there was something amusing about looking at herself in the reflection of her phone. ❝ I saw a picture of one in the middle of the road, and at first I thought it looked like a furry dinosaur. Really scary, I would pee myself if I saw one in person. They could squash us in a heartbeat! But at the same time, aren’t they supposed to be nice animals? I wouldn’t know, my knowledge on moose doesn’t go very far. Why isn’t the plural meese? It should be meese, if you ask me … ❞

     Changsoo nodded a little bit as he reached a hand over to adjust the antlers a little bit on top of the females head, eyes suddenly squinting as he managed to catch a flash of light from the corner of his eyes. Seems like hanging out in a public area was a bad decision, because a little bit of quiet time with a friend was turning into a much bigger deal. “C’mon, lets head out.” He stated as he hooked his arm over the smaller females shoulders to tug her down the sidewalk and towards... anywhere, really. Probably back to the BG Boys dorm in all honesty, where he knew they wouldn’t be disturbed. “Apparently they’re super sweet-- and I gave no idea, I love the word meese... One moose, two meese. It’s like one goose and two geese. It doesn’t make any sense!”

         The brunette looked away, his expression somewhat downtrodden.  “I’m not sorry.  I’m not.  But holy shit, that story just made me incredibly sad.  I mean, they probably had to cut that kid’s dick to release all the blood that had collected.  That involves a needle like as long as my arm.  I saw that on an episode of True Blood.  So like, I feel as if I should pour one out for his dick.  I bet it doesn’t work quite the same anymore.”

     “I think they shoved a needle in it or something and then cut the vacuum tube off.” Changsoo’s shoulders raised up then fell a little bit as a shudder runs through his system at the thought of any sort of needle like that getting close to his junk. hands moving to cover his junk subconsciously. “I sure hope that he never does something that stupid ever again, and if they do... then that is what I like to call natural selection. That boy deserves to get his dick all sorts of fucked up.”

      “Whatever helps you sleep at night man, whatever helps you sleep at night…” They had been drinking for an hour, and between them both a bottle and a half of patron had been drained– more so by Jeb than Changsoo, but the younger was still just as drunk. Just... not as drunk. His smile was wide as he reached a hand over to absently ruffle the others hair, nearly falling over on the couch they both occupied. The stumble he had even in a sitting position made him snicker before making sure to straighten himself up, feet pressing firmly into the ground.

     “Ehh?” The color almost seemed to completely drain from the males face as he instantly moved the coffee from in front of his face to look down at his sneakers, inspecting them for a moment before huffing. Changsoo narrowed his gaze a bit before looking back at the male, feigning an annoyed expression. “If you say ‘made you look’ I’m going to dump this coffee down the front of your pants.” Of course there was absolutely no malice to the males words, not really all that capable of it when the old friend. Or rather, he was, but neither of them took the other seriously when they were angry. It just wasn’t in Taemin nor Changsoo’s nature-- at least when it came to their friendship anyways. “So rude.”

I dance ballet…” Suji’s voice drifts off once she catches wind of her favorite pastime, for a second forgetting the current topic, but then snaps out of it soon enough. “Of course, you should have your respect. As should everyone. I do not believe people truly want to conform into some mold that society has presented them, not in their hearts. The immense amount of pressure, however, can be hard to deal with. I applaud you for being yourself in the public eye. But you are right, you cannot be a serial killer.”

     Changsoo’s own smile turned bright at the new information, glad to find that he had something in common with the female. “Primo ballerino with pointe training, but I don’t really take classes to I had my shoes painted-- they’re crimson red and I’m not even ashamed. They’re mostly a stage prop at this point.” His shoulders raise up some before falling in a slight shrugging motion, hands moving to push into the back pockets of his distressed jeans. Despite the cold air ( how dare winter decide to show up after the first day of spring ) he was wearing clothes that showed off a good chunk of his legs, the rips starting mid-thigh and extending all the way down towards his ankles where they disappeared into his favorite pair of doodled-on Timberlands. The idol had never been too keen on fashion to match the season-- at least not a serious extent. Besides, he was partially in denial of the cold. It was spring time and he was going to dress like it was spring time. “I’m honestly not asking people to agree or like or understand what I’m saying or whatever, I’m just asking for the respect that comes with letting me like what I like and all of that fancy political shit. It took a lot of balls for me to do what I did I guess, and I had staff members of my former company trying to talk me out of it-- but my friends supported my decision and I wanted to make a difference in this extremely repressive country that we live in. It’s time we exited the stone ages and entered this generation.”

Everyone should be allowed to be their own person. Unless you’re a serial killer, you cannot be a serial killer.”
