The cold chill of the snowball seeped into Jinah’s clothing, making a wet mark that darkened her pretty shirt. “Y-Yah!” she said, her slight stutter showcasing her surprise. “Tsk, you wanna play, hm?” her features turned devilish as she grabbed some snow, doing her best to make a ball (although it came out somewhat oblong shaped instead), throwing it at her assailant. “Ha! How do you like me now?!” she half-yelled, causing a nearby cat to pause its afternoon nap to glare at her.

“Alright, got it.” A soft smile crossed her lips as she looked up at the waiter at the cafe she had walked into, content with the atmosphere that made her feel calm and relaxed. “Thank you for your kindness. Ephram, is it? I’m Areum.” Soon a grin was plastered on her face, happy that she had a chance to make a new friend.

         “Don’t hit me!” He cries as he sees a shadow approach his head.  Not that Ephram is actually worried about someone hurting him, he’s got a hard noggin, but still… no one likes being hit if they don’t deserve it.  However, when there’s never any connection, he looks up, realizing that it’s the boy from before, the one who walked by the shop looking kind of quiet.  He’s placed a flower in Ephram’s hair and well…that confuses Ephram a little bit.

         “Have we met before?”

[ 💦  ]     Getting day drunk, especially alone, wasn’t something Noah did too often anymore. But this day had been particularly bad and his best friend was busy with work. That all led up to him rising his hand to put a flower in an absolutely strangers hair. The brunette blinked a few times, his head titling a bit in confusion, and his vision a bit blurry. “Us, met? Ah, I don’t think so.” He chuckled, shaking his head as his gaze drifted to the ground.
