Lmao wtf I have found????
I ghostwrote this keeeeek
People get really mad when you say trans activism is male supremacist but the fact TIMs are the ones holding the microphone representing and speaking over all trans people is 100% because of their male supremacy
i know this isn't at all a novel observation but like gender wars discourse would be sooo thoroughly improved if men could start saying "my ex-girlfriend" instead of "women" and women could start saying "my ex-boyfriend" instead of "men" instead of making these sweeping statements about a full half of the human population i.e. billions with a b billions of people
my ex-boyfriend commits 95% of violent crimes 👍
You could never comprehend how difficult life is for my Tumblr mutuals. Not a single one of them is going to make it, but they still log on and manage to fake a smile a decent percentage of the time. That they even perform basic tasks like respirating and seeking shelter is an honest to God miracle.
when I as a heterosexual woman say that I’m not changing my last name when I get married because I’d like to retain the identity I was born with and someone responds by saying “I think whoever has the cooler last name in a couple should win and the other person should take that name haha” I honestly find that annoying and dismissive. while it’s nice to imagine a world where gender has no bearing on surnames (and I think people should do whatever they want), it feels like that response is glossing over the root of the problem that MY choice is responding to — i.e., the fact women have been socially (and at one point, legally) required to give up their own names in favor of their husbands’ for generations. To go against this expectation in the United States in our present day is still treated as a radical act inviting judgment and reproach.
And to be frank, it’s exhausting to try to talk about this issue with people who take for granted that everyone in an immediate family unit needs to (or ought to) share the same last name. I’m not judging anyone who does want to have the same last name as their partner and/or children, but I promise you the family unit is not going to crumble over something as arbitrary as a name. I should not have to justify or argue for my right to keep my name. For me, it’s about basic autonomy and the desire to retain the identity that people have known me by for my entire life. and considering how strongly I feel about this, it should come as no surprise that I would never dream of asking my partner to give up his name either. Sometimes spouses have different last names and it’s genuinely not a big deal despite the widespread hysterics.
I see that "learned helplessness" is the hot new psychological term getting wildly misused. the phrase you're looking for is "weaponized incompetence," babes
i hate everybodys husband
I genuinely, like I'm not kidding...the way men feel for other men, is how I feel for women. men do not care about other men's atrocities. they're overly sensitive about every minuscule mistake a woman can make and then shrug their shoulders at other men doing crimes against humanity. okay and it seems to be working out for them pretty great, so now I do that! I do that but for women. men go to jail women get to commit crimes for free. I don't care.
"There have been some female painters also. Timarete, the daughter of Micon, painted a Diana at Ephesus, one of the very oldest panel-paintings known. Irene, daughter and pupil of the artist Cratinus, painted a figure of a girl, now at Eleusis, a Calypso, an Aged Man, the juggler Theodorus, and Alcisthenes the dancer. Aristarete, daughter and pupil of Nearchus, painted an Æsculapius. Iaia of Cyzicus, who always remained single, painted at Rome, in the youth of M. Varro, both with the brush, and with the graver, upon ivory, her subjects being female portraits mostly. At Naples, there is a large picture by her, the portrait of an Old Woman; as also a portrait of herself, taken by the aid of a mirror. There was no painter superior to her for expedition; while at the same time her artistic skill was such, that her works sold at much higher prices than those of the most celebrated portrait-painters of her day, Sopolis namely, and Dionysius, with whose pictures our galleries are filled. One Olympias painted also, but nothing is known relative to her, except that she had Autobulus for a pupil."
Pliny the Elder, Natural History
today i have learned that you can make a female mc in expeditions: rome. LET'S FUCKING GOOOOO 🤩🤩🤩
wan piss is the worst shounenshit. i genuinely hate the fact that it got so popular nowadays. bring back the times when it was looked down upon and not even in the big 3
im sorry but the concept of cum is so deeply unserious to me. you mean your dick got touched and now there’s goo? and this is everyone’s problem?
Favourite response: "Men like historical re-enactments more than they like dying in the civil war."
Years ago there was this post on here about how American media glorifies nuclear weaponry while Japanese media depicts it as how a monster was created and a commenter went “maybe if we all think really hard we can figure out why this is”. You get where I’m going with this.
the hardest thing about arguing with transpeople is how they are wrong about literally everything, so you don't even know where should you start with them kek.
Considering how it is incredibly well know that a default distrust and hatred of masculinity led to radical feminism and trans exclusionary radical feminsts, a group that is incredibly violent and hateful to trans women, I find it fascinating (read: Incredibly short sighted and foolish) how many trans women are openly embracing that kind of rhetoric. They seem to alternate between "fuck terfs!" and "I really vibe with the idea that masculinity is inherently evil and corrupts everything it touches"
You get the feeling that to some trans women the problem is not that terfs are bigots, but that they target trans women specifically.
tbh i don’t think this is entirely true as radical feminists despise femininity & most radical feminists are at least masculine adjacent women themselves. like have you read what radfems think of femininity & how they treat feminine women?
You are just like misogynists of the past who accused feminists of being mannish. Modern version of "virago". Have YOU read of whar radfems think of femininity & how they treat feminine women? Or are you just making shit up?
