[Clip starts with Cassidy in the  kitchen at her parents house, helping her mom get things ready for breakfast. The two women are standing there silently working on the food.]
Ella: Iâm excited Chase was able to come visit with you this time.
Cass: [Smiles looking at her mom as she continues cutting the fruit.] Me too. Mr. Busy actually surprised me. [She teases, knowing the two of them have both been busy lately.]
Ella: Has he been working a lot?
Cass: [Nods.] Yeah, but heâs slowed downa  bit which is great, so then I get to spend more time with him. Though Iâve been super these past couple weeks myself, spending late hours at the studio.
Ella: Well, thatâs good, I know when your dad gets busy and isnât home often I hated it, still do sometimes. [She mumbles slightly.]
Cass: [Frowns a bit.] I donât remember daddy working that much growing up. [She comments.]
Ella: [Shrugs her shoulders.] You were little, you donât remember as much, but your dad was always good about making time for you kids.
Cass: [Notices the bitterness in her momâs tone a little thrown off.] He was. [She answers quietly, not sure what to say or if she should get into this topic with her mom, leaving the air quiet to see what her mom does.]
Ella: [Is also quiet for a moment before speaking.] So what are you and Chase planning to do while here?
Cass: [Finishes up with the fruit sheâs cutting and puts it in a bowl, moving the cutting board and knife to the sink to wash.] Not sure. I know the one thing he said he got us tickets for the Braves game on Saturday night.
[As Cassidy is talking Ellaâs phone beeps and she picks it up.]Â
Cass: [Turns around still talking.] Which, I was a little shocked he didnât throw a fit, or well, he even suggested it! [She notices her mom not paying attention, and smiling down at her phone. Cassidy pauses for a moment, her mom still oblivious to her talking.] And then Aliens came down and abducted Chase, and well since heâs been back heâs been kinda really strange. [She jokes to test her mother, seeing if sheâd notice Cassidy making up silly things. Looking over at her mom who still hadnât heard anything she shakes her head.] Youâre like a sixteen year old, giggling at your phone. Whoâs even texting you? And did you hear anything I said?
Ella: [Snaps out of it and looks at Cassidy shaking her head the same way, exactly how Cassidy just had. Showing how similar the two really are.] Sorry honey weâre... weâre planning this event... and itâs a group conversation or whatever you call it. Sorry. What were you saying? [She turns her phone face down after finishing her text, placing it on the counter.]
Cass: Just he got us tickets to the Braves game and I got no comments or grief how the Yankeeâs are better. [Cassidy laughs a little, grabbing a couple other of the things theyâd made on the table and grabbing a couple dishes.]
Ella: Maybe youâve finally converted him. [Ella jokes.]
Cass: {Laughs again.] Maybe, but doubtful. Iâm going to go wake him up so we can have breakfast.
Ella: Okay, Iâll finish. Let you father know too.
Cass: I will. [Goes to head upstairs, turning and seeing her mom picking up her phone, smirking right away as she say it. Cassidy shakes her head before going upstairs to jump on Chase to wake him up.
