These events unnerved her. All these people so loud, all over each other, fake laughter filling the air. Tara didnât trust it. It left her with the need to be on guard, as if they were soon to be attacked quite easily. Less âtheyâ more she. There was little else she cared about after all. She regretted coming out, but all the same she couldnât allow herself to be unaware of what occurred in the city. Being clueless wasnât something Tara could ever allow herself to be again. Taking a sip of red wine her face quickly churned. âThis is awful.â She remarked.
âThe wine?â cassie asked curiously. âI mean I canât really argue that, Iâm technically not old enough to drink at this party.â she shrugged. âBut it canât be that bad, that lady over there is on her third glass.â she said nodding over to the dark haired girl whoâs lips were stained red from the liquid.Â
