hi friends!! i realise i haven’t posted to this blog in like, a year, so i genuinely don’t think there’s anyone still around to see this who’s been wondering where i went, but on the off chance that anyone is, i’m not gone!! i’ve just quietly moved blogs over to lesamis. 

if we’ve ever talked and you noticed i suddenly disappeared, or if you’re just into history and obscure musicals, you can head over there. for anyone else, this blog is absolutely staying up, and who knows if i’ll ever want the url back, but for now i’ve moved indefinitely. so long! <3

You know what annoys me most about humanity: lack of fucking foresight!

Back when i was in school, i must have been around 12, we used to have a snack vending machine in our common area until one day the school administration removed it cause kids kept buying chocolate instead of proper meals. The outrage was enormous! And the vending machine became the literal turning point in school politics for us. Two weeks later we had an election to select our head student. Four students started campaigning. Two were utterly forgettable, one was a senior who talked about her detailed plans to communicate with the public transportation department to arrange more buses, sporting events, more transparency, fundraiser for better chairs (our chairs were shit!) and more. She should have gotten the job, but did she? Of course not. You know who did? The fucking frat boy who got up on stage and shouted ‘if you elect me i’ll bring back the vending machine’ and the entire student body erupted in applause. During his one year reign we had no sporting events cause he blew the entire budget on parties only a selected group of people was invited to, we had no fundraiseres nor a yearbook and he was impeached towards the end of the year cause he had no clue what to do and refused to negotiate with teachers. Did he bring back the vending machine you might wonder? Of course not.

It doesn’t matter though if you’re a pissed off thirteen year old outraged cause they took away your daily mars bar or an outraged 50 year old oh so scared of the evil evil immigrants who dared to flee war and death. People have no fucking foresight and buy into any shit as long as others keep making empty promises.

Tyler Hoechlin Is Superman!

Tyler Hoechlin will be playing Superman in Supergirl Season 2.

It was recently revealed that we as an audience would finally meet Kara’s famous cousin, the Man of Steel himself, in the Supergirl Season 2 premiere. KryptonSite has learned that the boots will be filled by actor Tyler Hoechlin (Everybody Wants Some, Teen Wolf).

Interestingly, Hoechlin had once been heavily rumored to play Batman at one point; the actor was someone that Supergirl’s Executive Producers had wanted to work with.

“Greg [Berlanti] and I have wanted to work with Tyler for ages, so this worked out perfectly because Tyler is Superman,” Andrew Kreisberg said. “We are so thrilled and humbled to add another amazing actor to the legacy of this iconic character.”

Supergirl Season 2 will premiere this Fall at its new home on The CW.

It’s funny, because when I was doing voice coaching before - because I was slightly posher in it than I am day to day - the voice coach said that I do a thing like when I’m talking and I used to lose my voice at the end of sentences a lot and that’s an emotional thing, because a lot of the time I felt like what I was saying had no weight, and that there was no point in what I was saying, and I don’t do that anymore.
