Oh no. I think I have a taste. It seems I have had three mystery show hyperfixations: Sherlock, Murdoch, & Castle-oq. Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Plus I’ve enjoyed father brown mysteries. & buzzfeed unsolved is kinda fun. & Blue’s Clues was one of my favourites as a kid. (& I liked reading the spy school books, Sammy keyes, father brown, & the cat who)

i think it's funny when a character is almost exclusively referred to by their last name by other people and this carries over into their internal monologue when someone writes from their pov. not even on a first name basis with herself

Christmas means something different to me than it does to you. It’s Christmas. I mean, how can it be different? Castle, every winter, as soon as that chill rolls in, I’m right back there in that alley. January 9th and we still hadn’t taken our Christmas decorations down. And by the time my dad and I did, it was like we were putting Christmas away forever. We haven’t opened those boxes since. I didn’t know.
