The offer came and Giselle couldn't help but to tilt her head, furrowing her brows slightly as she turned to face the speaker. "I'm...Excuse me?" She asked, not completely convinced that she had heard the speaker correctly. "Did you...Just ask me to get a drink with you?"
Eva had always been a big fan of Elvis Presley, she grew up with his music despite he'd already been gone by the time she was born but that didn't stop her mother and grandmother from loving him. "It's such an honor to be here, I've never been to Graceland before." she spoke as she held her sparkling water in her hand as she looked around the event room at all the artwork. "Which one is your favorite?" she asked as her one hand rested over her unsettled abdomen, hoping her red gown was enough to cover her little bump that started already.
Attending the event at Graceland hadn't been Giselle's idea of a good time, if she were being honest. Still, once she realized the vast majority of the others in town intended to attend, she resigned herself to attending as well. Despite growing up in Vegas she just hadn't ever seemed to connect with the King, his music, or his fanbase, preferring a variety of other alternatives. His music wasn't something her mother had listened to either, meaning that aside from the impersonators lining the streets of her hometown, she hadn't ever given the man a second thought. Head on a swivel, she made her way slowly through the halls of Graceland, doing her best not to look too disinterested. The sound of another's voice pulled her from her thoughts, and she smiled softly before replying. "I haven't been here before either, it looks like this is a night of firsts for us both." The question came and for a moment Giselle felt a bolt of panic shoot through her spine, though she quickly regained control. "That one." She said, nodding to the painting hanging to her left. "It's just so....Elvis." She added, hoping her answer had been vaguely detailed enough to hide her 'secret'. "And yours?"

giselle was born in las vegas, nevada to a single mother who wasn't ever truly prepared to be a mother in the first place. her father disappeared the moment he learned that her mother was pregnant, and giselle has never met him.
from a young age, giselle was interested in the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of life. in some regards, she considers this to be a product of her upbringing- her mother, never truly taking an interest in her or her life, left her to her own devices more often than not. she stumbled upon spirituality during a time in her childhood she was simply looking to connect.
academics always came easy to giselle despite her lack of support at home. with very little effort or studying she maintained an A average, of course occasionally earning the stray B here and there.
as she grew, so did her interest in the metaphysical and the spiritual. giselle found solace and comfort in learning about the topics, and the various paths entwined within them. soon, she had mastered the arts of tarot, tea leaf reading, and palm reading alike.
following graduation from high school giselle attended a community college to earn her associate's in business, allowing her the knowledge to begin work on the shop she'd always dreamed of.
she moved to castle prairie a short time ago, leaving her old life behind to pursue her own dream and passion after years of saving up for just that.
