!! EMERGENCY BROADCAST !!

Attention all listeners, this is your friendly neighborhood host speaking with some troubling things to report on this chilly Saturday morning.  We’re being told that for the first time in over twenty years there has been a murder in Caston.  No official statement has been released by the police but thanks to some investigating and some nosy fans of ours, we have some info.  

Witness reports state than an elderly women was removed from her home in a black body bag while police swarmed the scene.  One witness even states that she saw what seemed to be a seasoned police officer entering before exiting quickly and...Well, losing his lunch. 

What happened inside the house that could be so ghastly?  Well, we may have an answer on that as well.  A source who would like to remain anonymous reports that there has been a prisoner escape at the nearby Vista Penitentiary. Of course, upon hearing that name, many long time residents immediately think the worst.  As that is the place Smiling Sam, Caston’s very own serial killer was sent...You guessed it, twenty years ago.  

Now there are no official releases or comments from officials saying that any of this is true.  But still we urge all residents to keep safe.  Be aware of your surroundings.  And of course, report anything suspicious to the police.
