You know, for a long time, I've always thought the Garden symbol is the "knife like" accessories that is Yor's earings.
As we can see, Shopkeeper always use the "knife like" accessories on his hat and robe
Aside than Yor's usuall earings, we also saw she used the same accesories on her dress that she wore during Cruise arc
But, when we were introduced to the other Garden members: Hemlock and Gimpie, they didn't use the same "knife like" accessories. Instead these two assassins seem like using a similar type of button, located at their lapels.
And again, these button are not Rose button that Yor usually wears.
Now, I think the theory (or headcanon) that said the Rose buttons to be Yor's special button, or the Briar women's legacy might be true.
Because Yor will always use that rose button anywhere. And she even have her own rose themed clothes for her assassin work.
So once again....
Why only Yor wears the same "knife like" accesories like the Shopkeeper?
Why the Shopkeeper let Yor keeps her Rose identity (Briar identity?) with her, and let her use it even during her assassin work?
From chp. 115, we can assume the Shopkeeper think highly of the Extinc Empire, and yet he only give the royal title to Yor: The "princess". But no "knight" or any other royal titles to his other assassin? Not even the title "king" to himself as he merely refers himself as "manager/shopkeeper"??
Why Shopkeeper seems truly fond of Yor and treats her as special?? So special that he assigns Matthew McMahon to act as her "butler" during difficult missions and during Yor's everyday civilian duty (under the guise of her director)?
The southwest area was once a part of an Empire. And Yor came from the south (even though, from chp 114, we know it was the rural part of the area)
Hmmmm
So many questions 👀👀👀
I think the Garden has 2 big branches - Flowers vs Tree
Yor is in the Flower branch, with all of her cloths have symbols of roses and thorns
Hemlock, Gympie and McMahon are all in the Tree branch (judging from their name and hair, face), have buttons or other motif/symbol
And the shopkeeper just have both symbols, embodying both the Tree and Flower sectors in the organization, which makes sense cus they watch over both of them
Oooohhh!!! Fascinating idea 👀👀👀👌👌
The Flower division might refer to those who work in the field.
Meanwhile the Three division might refer to those who work as support
Hemlock is a poisonous flower, so he would be in the "flower" division. Which explain why he idolize Yor. And him repeatedly said "We are pruner" and point at McMahon to "managerial positition".
Gympie would be at the "tree" division too, considering she do the poison and medicine research.
Meanwhile, Shopkeeper IS the keeper of both flower and tree.
Very interesting addition 🥰🥰
