Sunday Mornings
Cat lay in bed, turned on her side and watching her sleeping daughter. She could not believe how lucky they were to have Lily in their lives and even more so, Cat couldn't believe how lucky she was to have them both in her life. She gently ran a finger down Lily's nose, kissing the top of it as the little one stirred and began to cry. "Hungry, Lily?" She chuckled and sat up, fixing Lily in her arms so the infant could nurse. Cat watched her quietly humming a lullaby, one that she remembered from years past.
