it's currently 2 am, and I'm starting to think maybe changing the home phone notification sound to jason griffith's werehog scream wasn't quite a good idea.

it used to be a fart sound effect, but my dad got suuuuper angry and said to change the notification sound to something else. to poke the bull, i decided to make it the werehog scream instead.

the phone is across the house in the dining room, and the scream is so loud i can hear it from here in my bedroom. with the help of me really needing to pee, i woke up from werehog sonic screaming.

maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the home phone didn't get so many notifications, but also knowing my dad, if he hears that at 3 am, he's gonna freak out thinking there's a crazy man in our house somewhere.

even while writing all that, i heard the scream at least 6 times.
