âOnly the best for my lady,â Palmer replied, knowing the line was cheesy. But, he also knew most girls typically liked that cheesy shit, even if they never admitted it out loud. And Catalina was definitely not the one to admit she liked it. He shrugged his shoulders at her question as his eyes took in the menu, agreeing with her statement silently. It was gibberish â he had no idea what was on it. Truth be told, it was his first time at this place, even though it seemed like heâd been many times before. Stephanie never liked eating out â she preferred to save their money and making their own dinners. Organic and shit. And yeah, Palmer didnât mind eating organically, but it got annoying â he wanted to treat her once and a while and sheâd physically reject it. âUhâŚâ Palmer felt his cheek tinge with red and he chuckled quietly â fuck. âThe, uh, Carciofini Fritti sounds⌠good. Is good. Itâs good. Iâve had it⌠loads of times.â It was almost obvious the boy hadnât ate there, but he tried his best to sound convincing.
âYour lady?â By now, Catalina didnât like to be anyoneâs property. Even when Nathanial would try and say his lady, she always felt weird about it. Yeah, it was cute and all, but sheâd like to be her own property. Palmer probably thought he was being cute to her, but in all honestly, she felt a different way. Catalina kept scrolling the menu trying to find something she would actually like to eat, and everything sounded out of this world. Knowing her she would order the du framage and it would be clams. âAre you sure youâve been here before?â The Latina asked noticing the fact that he was hesitating his words in every way to make him sound smart. Too bad she didnât take this language or else she would own him like sheâs done plenty times in the past with Spanish. âI have no idea what to get, do they have burgers?â She asked, something completely unclassy to eat with what she was wearing, but thatâs the only thing that she could think of.
