Okay all the cool things I can remember from the local production of TGWDLM:
During the opening number and Inevitable, the Infected were wearing glowing blue wrist cuffs
Harmony Jones asked the audience to sign her thing. One person said yes.
Harmony Jones was straight-up chasing Paul when she was trying to get him to sign
Homeless Man was sitting in the audience and uncredited. I think he was part of the crew or something.
For the meteor hitting scene, instead on and off stage, they had enough people that they froze after they spoke, and at the end of the scene, Emma came on, looked around at everyone, then stared at Paul
Alice and Deb were a lot sweeter with each other than the original cast
"i WANT to go HOME!" that line delivery was delightful
The I'm A Little Teapot dance was part of the Roasted Coffee choreo
When Pete got his hot chocolate during Roasted Coffee, he got it, he said/mouthed "finally"
Pete noticed he was dying and asked for Paul to help him
Doug told part of the audience to put their hands up and down
The two cops that ran away sang "Mommy made me mash my m&m's"
Oh my God this Hidgens was channeling Tim Curry.
Also his costume was giving Bill Nye
Show-Stopping Number was foreshadowed. Chekhov's keyboard.
The chair that Sam was cuffed to had wheels. And all that entails for Tied Up My Heart.
Charlotte didn't have her intestines hanging out during Join Us and Die. Good riddance (I'm squeamish and can never watch that scene)
Sam and Charlotte menaced the audience during part of the second chorus. One of the others said "What? Who are they talking to?"
Hidgens made them sing the beginning Beauty and the Beast and they couldn't figure out which song from it he meant.
Alice's zombie walk was on point
Bill audibly said "I'm so sorry" two or three times after the bridge of Not Your Seed
Hidgens had an evil laugh I can't-
McNamara had three watches on his shirt during his introductory scene.
Hidgens played the Phantom of the Opera riff when he first sat down
America's Great Again choreo with prop rifles
Paul's actor is clearly a strong dancer and you could tell the moment he started boogying down due to infection
Emma was still recovering/limping during Inevitable
Paul was wearing a blue shirt during Inevitable (it was white through the rest of the show)
Emma said "You weren't there! How do you know that song?!" When Paul started singing Show-Stopping Number
Yeah anyways it was great
