// This is where my welcome page and my guidelines will be going. Since this is primarily for a few friends I am not entirely worried about getting everything 100% set up.

Later on I will be adding what I have so far about my sentient cars and the brilliant minds that operate them.

For a quick reference though...

Ryzen is my Koenigsegg and where in the timeline you want to interact with him will determine which version. I mostly have him in the Agera up until his last major fight with the evil corp in which the Agera is crushed and his soul chip is destroyed by them. Ryzen then takes on the form of the Jesko and remains as such.

Oliver started off in various car forms by the evil corp in order to catch and destroy Ryzen. Oliver's favorite form is in the Lamborghini and favors the Countach because of its still incredible design and he loves the Huracan because of both performance and sex appeal. Plus it's the only thing that can really give Ryzen a run for his money.

John started off as a '67 Alpha Romeo and remained as such until the self-destruct feature built inside of him nearly killed him and Ryzen put his soul chip into that of an Enzo Ferrari, thus giving him more power to survive. After that John worked to restore an old Ferrari Testarossa in which his soul chip was able to bond and he's been the Testarossa ever since.

I've got one big project that I'm still working on that's consuming a lot of my time (and physical strength) and then there's work, which I seem to be at more and more.

I'm trying to go to bed early and wake up earlier.

Plus there's the other art projects that I'm still working on.

I'm also losing Ryzen, Aquarii, John, and Oliver as muses. Most of my attention lately has been on two of my new muses, Orion and Gamma, but because of how my ideas are it's very difficult to want to rp them because most people want things grounded on Earth and I am honestly happiest when I'm just writing stories.

"It's a rice bowl.. thingy. See, I love rice and stuff like that so it's my go to if ever I go to a place that does it. Mind you, I tend to stick with the chicken or beef ones. Anything that may have shellfish in it? Off the table."

It probably was the least accurate way to describe it, but she could understand the apprehension of using AI.

"Oh neat! I love caramel milk tea with custard pudding. I do love the fruity ones, so I'm with your brother on this one for that. And the popping pearls!"

They had that in common too, thankfully.

"Ohhhh that's donburi, right!" Ryzen could have smacked himself in the forehead for that mental blank. "Of course. I should have remembered that as it's one thing that people like over at the track. I understand about the shellfish. I am not a fan of seafood at all."

Ryzen wasn't honestly sure if he was just allergic to it but the last time he tried even a harmless tuna fish sandwich he wound up ill even in his car form. "Beef and chicken donburi sounds perfect."

Ryzen chuckled, "Well then, bubble tea and donburi it is! I like the bubble tea warm as well as cold, it just depends on the weather. I am not a big coffee drinker but apparently there's a type of coffee that can really send you flying around the track non-stop until you just about crash…"

He again laughed as they walked. "Oh is this the place? What ever you wish to get, you can order it. It's on me."

"Hey, keep the creds."

Pari gently would hand over the credits back to him and she peered curiously at the medication.

"Oh gosh! I've had a few instances where I've had to offer my meds for the same reason. I thankfully haven't needed my own for a while but I keep ones on standby because the gravity levels on some of the places I've been are MENTAL."

She replied before beaming at him.

"I've put a lot of work into the Shuffle. She originally was my grandpa's spacecraft and I just kept adapting her and updating her as I went."

"Okay well, I'll still find a way to pay you back," said Aquarii with a little smile. "But thank you!"

He pocketed the candy as they walked and Aquarii listened about Shuffle. "Stellar! Have you been on any where the gravity levels flux depending on the lunar or solar cycles? I've only heard of them, but sometimes I don't know if they're just exagerated stories."

Aquarii thought about Shuffle and smiled just a little. "A ship that was passed on to you? How stellanarious is that?! I bet you couldn't wait to lift off as soon as you could! I know I couldn't wait!"

He thought for a moment and then asked, "What's the most gaseous place that you've ever been to? For me it was this tiny little exoplanet called Isotoll out near the Gemini system. It was written as the most lunarious place with its natural crystal features and lakes and rivers of many different colors except when I got there it was so overrun by tourists you couldn't even see many of these crystals. It was all tourist stuff so now I have doubts major if it was ever real to begin with. One of the most gaseous and inky extreme places to visit."

"I love that for you. Knowing that you've found that little bit of joy, it.. makes me feel like maybe one day I can find mine too. Granted, mine isn't about siblings, of course. Although that's not to say yours is any less important. If it's important to you, it's important."

Pari replied before letting out a wistful sigh.

"I.. am appreciating the little things. Maybe that's my bit of joy. Making new friends counts with that too."

"What would it take for you to find yours?" Ryzen asked. "More than just the little things in life that make you happy, but the one thing that you're thinking about right now that would give you as much happiness as finding my brothers has given me? I'm sure having new friends helps towards that?"

He gave a soft little smile as he glanced away in thought. "My kind are not normal humans, well, we're not even classified as humans since our life form starts off as tiny orbs that either exist within our atmosphere or even above it. That's where me and my brothers come from so even amongst my kind we're rare. That's why finding John was so incredible and why losing Aquarii still hurts me."

Escher's brow furrowed. Nuclear war wasn't something he'd heard about yet, but he didn't get the impression it was anything worth asking about right now.

The vampire hesitated when Aquarii asked about where he was from. He thought for a moment, before nodding. "I…no, I'm not from earth. Or at least, this earth. I'm…I'm from another plane," he finally admitted. "The Shadowfell. It's…not a good place. Like I said, I'm very happy to be here."

"Ohhh stellar major! Like some kind of time vortex or wormhole instance? Perhaps even something to do with a black hole?"

Aquarii shuddered suddenly and immediately tried to shrink back into his jacket as though the very thought of the black hole was terrifying. He cleared his throat, unnerved by the last thought. "Yeah I mean, any place with a name like that definitely gives the inky vibes. Glad you're here at least! So, your kind can't be out in sunlight? Does your plane have a thick atmosphere that make starlight difficult to get through to the ground and so that's why it's hard for you to be in it?"

"Don't consider it a favor," Escher said, sitting across from his friend now. "While I'd love a trip, you're my friend, Ryzen. We look our for eachother. I don't need anything in return."

Red eyes looked over the man, trying to think of anything else he could do. "If you want, I could carry you to bed when you're done…or you could stay here, but in the end I think sitting like that will just make things worse," he offered.

"But it is something that I can do," said Ryzen in a quickly fading voice. "It's a fun trip at any rate. Going… up there, isn't as bad as it used to be…"

He tried to drink some more of the soup but ended up putting his arms on the table and then resting his head on his arms. Ryzen shivered again and felt as though he was going to pass out and for a moment, he did, though he remained upright and surprisingly didn't fall over. Ryzen simply remained unresponsive to calls and to touches.

"Then how about this. How about.. we both keep trying in our own ways? You know?"

She wasn't the same as he was, biologically speaking of course as she was a human. But she could appreciate that his heart was in the right place and it was always good to know someone cared.

So him carrying on, in a way, gave her hope too.

"So.. what's been the best things you've encountered so far?"

"That sounds like a good plan," said Ryzen with a little smile, though it did fade as he thought back to recent occurrences that robbed him of his optimism and hope for the future.

It was good to know that he wasn't alone, and not just someone from his family, but someone who wasn't like him and yet still strived and fought for a better future no matter what came their way. It was comforting.

"Finding my brothers," said Ryzen softly. "It doesn't matter the records that I've set with my Jesko or all the tracks that I've been on. None of that even compares to the joy I had when I realized that I had a brother again, or the day when I found my long-lost brother. What about you? What little bit of joy has come into your life?"

"Not a problem! I mean, I have to pick up a shipment from there and drop it back off elsewhere, so I'm heading there anyway."

Pari would take her phone out of her pocket and while she couldn't get a decent picture of her craft, she did.. show him the specs.

"Okay so! This is the Shuffle. She's a little hefty but she's a modified cargo craft. Obviously there's a few pulse weapons there, but that's mostly incase I come across any pirates."

"Stellar! Thank you!" Aquarii said, quite happy to hear this. "I can give you the fare that I was going to pay getting to the moon, so.." Aquarii fished out the credits from his pocket and gave it to her. A few of the zero g medicine he kept in his pocket also fell out. "Oh yeah, oops, those aren't for me those are for the tourists. I promise."

Aquarii had spent the last ten years in space, spending very little time down on the planets in his search for his brother. If anything, being on the ground made him ill. He gazed at the ship with interest. "Lunarious major! Oh yeah, gotta have a good defense and offense for what's out there. I've encountered all sorts across the galaxy. It's part of the reason I'm a little reluctant to get my own space craft. Yours is stellar major though!"

".. you know what? Fuck it. Let's get some food too! Could murder some donburi. And you know what? I'm all for bubble tea. You're probably gonna think my order will be a little weird though."

Pari said with a chuckle before fastening her coat.

"At least I'd like to think this place may do donburi. But if not, I'll have what's there. Anyway! Yes. Sorry. I rambled.."

"Donburi?" Ryzen was sure that he had heard of this before but at the moment he hadn't the foggiest idea on what it was. But bubble tea was something that he was familiar with. "Ah maybe? You should meet my family if you want to compare weird food interests."

He nodded a bit as thought, "Hm, well I will leave that up to you because I'm not that sure. I could Google it… but you probably know better than the AI that likes to think that it's helpful on here."

Ryzen gave a wry little smirk. He really did hate AI, especially the mechanical kind. He forced past the subject though to say, "My brother, John, he loves bubble tea. I accidentally got him hooked to it and he really likes the watermelon flavor. But it is infinitely better than what he had been previously addicted to and certainly seems to keep him alert on the track."

Now, seeing the Kadet that Ryzen had was almost like seeing an old friend for Herbie. He remembered when such models were abundant, but now they were basically a specialty car. Much like his own VW Beetle was.

"Pftt. I've seen children's toys that look better than those Cybertrucks." Herbie snickers when the other man brings up those Primus awful cars.

He eyes the board that Ryzen directs him to with interest, already game to try himself against the time records recorded there even before the other mentions a more modern Beetle having driven the track.

"My car is a one of a kind, but it's street legal. I street race fairly often, so I get not wanting trick cars. Helmets too."

At least, it was good for the humans to wear helmets. But he can "wear" one too to not raise concerns.

"I'd definitely like to see how I match up against what you have here!"

He agrees with a nod, totally unable to help himself.

"Yes children's toys can handle snow a lot better than the cybertruck," Ryzen replied with a laugh, entertainment showing in his eyes. "Good good, then you and your Beetle will be warmly welcomed here."

He begn to do a slow walk towards the Kadet again in which he gently ran his fingers over the roof. "Don't let the lap time record holders get to you too much. What we really strive here is not just personal best, but to see how they handle. Just because a Lamborghini goes around the track faster than a Honda Accord doesn't automatically make it the better car. Plus on our track we have those who want to be test drivers and stunt drivers working on their skills."

Sudden excited noise coming from a trio of teenagers brought Ryzen's attention to them. "We also have driving courses here to help get those who are nervous behind the wheel in a controlled environment."

Ryzen smiled and nodded. "In due time! But right now those kids are going to be out there for about an hour and a half so right now would be a great time to get something to eat, bring your car in, or keep checking the place out."

Though Ryzen's Kadet was not even on the board, it was evident on how much Ryzen still loved the little car. It had saved his and his brother's life so many times. Ryzen wished that he could tell Herbie the truth about himself and what he was, but that would come on its own.

It was like a mix of a testing ground on Velocitron and a testing area at a human car development facility. Herbie would be visibly impressed as Ryzen continued to describe the place, his personal pride in it obvious.

The vehicle that they finally stop by, and Ryzen claims as his own, is definitely impressive looking. A car specifically made to slice through space like a knife through butter, and reminded the bug of the more aerodynamic designs those from his own planet would have for their frames.

"I drive a 1963 Volkswagen Beetle, actually. Not the usual choice for someone interested in racing, I know. But like you said, racing is from the heart and soul. And mine is in that vehicle."

Comes Herbie's bright reply, tone jovial and genuine. He of course had pride in his chosen vehicle mode, but he knew the typical reaction others had when they knew about it. Especially someone describing the types of cars like Ryzen was.

"Impressive," said Ryzen warmly. "The bugs are good little cars. Adorable too. My other car that I have, it doesn't race but I often use it for driving around locally or just when I want to be discreet."

He gestured at the mint green 1965 Opel Kadet sitting on the other side of the Koenigsegg. "So trust me when I say that I won't ever look down on a car for being something that many would not consider to be a racing car, or even something that someone should own. Although, I really do draw the line at Cybertrucks. Those things are entirely awful."

Ryzen brought Herbie over to a board where there were a bunch of cars listed and next to it a time. "These are from guests who bring their cars to the track to see how they match up against others or basically, just to see how fast they can go around it. We've had a 2000 Beetle here so if you ever are interested in taking your Beetle out for a spin you're more than welcome to. We only like to ensure safety out there so a helmet is required and for these times, they're all street-legal so nothing fancy reserved for racing only. No slicks. No track-only cars. These timed laps are for street cars."

Ryzen pointed up near the top where it said Koenigsegggggggggggg Jesko Absolut and said, "Even I don't hold the best track record on here but I am one of their main drivers."

"Well, I didn't come across any sort of monsters but I do know that there's a hotbed of supernatural activity going on that world. Supposedly."

She did however brighten up at the idea of heading back to Luna.

"Well, I can swing by there if you like. I mean, I can't say my craft is better than a space taxi, but I'm more than happy to take you along if you like."

"Huh that's really interesting," said Aquarii, genuinely curious about it. "Everything I hear from Mars tends to be suspicious major especially in terms of monsters and mayhem and squatters trying to lay claim to it like they did with the moon years ago.

A smile spread across Aquarii's face at the idea. "Yeah sure! Wow sorry I forget that a lot of beings own their own space craft. I've had to travel here mostly through public ships, but also not a bad way to travel. You get to meet a lot of stellar beings along the way and sometimes not the best sleep… what does yours look like?"

"Well, that's super sweet of you. Thank you. I've gotta be honest though, at some point I drank a little too much so for me now, it's better not to imbibe."

Pari replied, thinking it would be better to explain why she wouldn't accept.

"Anything soft, or anything like tea? Awesome. But seriously you really don't have to. I'm more than happy to help. It's not taking up any time at all, especially if it helps."

"Oh OH!" Ryzen's eyebrows lifted and then a gentle, warm smile washed over his face. "I know of a place that serves tea. Bubble tea I think. But maybe something to eat as well like a sandwich or something? I think they might have some there."

Ryzen gave a little shrug of his shoulders. "Well in a way I am about to forage for some food so it might be a bit rude of me not to include you after you've been so wonderful in listening to me and my problems. But I won't pressure you or force you either way. If tea is all you care for, then tea you shall have."

"I don't think I couldn't stop pushing onwards now even if I wanted to, you know? Still. Don't you ever stop pushing for a better future for you and those you care for either."

It probably seemed odd of her to say so, but knowing that someone else was fighting ahead was more than enough to give her that little bit of hope too.

"I won't give up if you won't either."

Ryzen just chuckled and looked up to the clouds. "The day I quit trying is the day I leave existence all together. What I am doesn't allow for me to die so easily and even when I can I simply refuse. Well, there was that one time but I…" His voice faltered and he brought his arms around himself. "I didn't intend for it to happen. I suppose there's only so much one can take before there's a complete system failure."

After a moment he was able to look at Pari agan and he nodded. "I hope that never happens to you. There's so much to see and explore in this world… and others… to be so confined and limited by fears."

Escher listened intently, a smiling spreading across his face again. "That sounds absolutely amazing…"

The universe seemed so vast here. "To be able to travel so far, see so much…this is a truly wonderful place."

He looked to the ground when Aquarii asked about the mists. "Not…not quite. Things back home…they're quite different. For a number of reasons." Reasons he couldn't explain. Paultin had warned him about how magic was treated on this plane. "I'm glad to be here. Safe and warm."

"Well I wouldn't say that this is something unique to Earth," said Aquarii. "Many other solar systems worked out interstellar travel ages ago while Earth still threatened itself with nuclear war."

Aquarii tilted his head, curious about what Escher was not telling him. His eyes widened just a little as he thought of something, "Vega-omega are you not from Earth as well? You'd be surprised at how many non-Earth beings are here and yet go about their daily lives as though they are human. It's pretty stellar. I mean my actual form should be a car but ah, yeah that can't happen. So where are you from?"
