He shoots back. Her lightening fast speed was no mere trick, it was her form's desperate way to compensate for all of things it couldn't do. That it wouldn't be able to do even after she got older. And if she used it too much, she'd never get the chance to get older in the first place.

"That ability is actively hurting you a bit more every time you use it. NO, your spark didn't explode - THIS TIME. The problem is that it WILL, because it and your frame are still developing and can't take the strain. Being the best isn't worth going off line."

"No.." The last time they've seen drill boy was when they died in the hands of her friend, then when she was reborn, the forest was silent as any presence of drill boy was gone. Fay then began her journey to try to find her friend.

......how old was this fairy? She reminded Herbie of a kid, but that meant nothing. She was an organic, but fairies were supposed to be magical and fairly ageless creatures, right?

If this 'Drill Boy' had been a regular human, maybe he simply grown too old....

He comms up Herbie to notify him of the date availability and pick up time window. They hash it out between them and Rob puts in for his long awaited vacation time. The clinic could run with Sprocket in charge with the interns assisting easily enough. The other full medic took a little convincing, but once he heard Rob had never had a day off, he was more amiable.

Standing at the abandoned shuttle pad not far from the clinic, Robustus waits for the arrival of Herbie and Lift Off both.

Pops. It was funny to see Robustus called that, it was such a human term of endearment.

Herbie returns his partner's smile and follows him out of the loading area. Carrying the box he'd grabbed as he did.

"Warm welcome you got.~" He comments with a chuckle as they go down the hall.

Robustus hums happily to his partners' comment, "You know why that is so." he mentions, knowing full well that their spark connection probably showed him something of his work on the Triple Changer project along with the predecessor to it that took the alt mode and made a slight alteration to it to allow it a secondary function. Therefore technically triple changers themselves.

"Tracer and Barracuda are found family as well as technically siblings since they can convert their alt modes." Shark comments. "Speaking of family, we got a couple someones for you to meet Rob."

The medic looks over to that sharp toothed grin Shark. "Oh? Well, I look forward to meeting whoever they may be my boy."

Herbie would hum a soft agreement, their connection had indeed filtered in some of the elder medic's memories as needed. It was like having a highlight reel on demand for every new bot the racer met from Robustus' life. Letting the racer knew the basics of who they were despite not being formally introduced yet.

Still an interesting experience to have, but the racer was getting pretty used to it by now. When initially it had been rather disorienting.

He tilts his head curiously at the mention of there being new bots for his partner to meet. More family...?

They continue to walk down the hallway with their boxes. Eventually they all end up in the medical bay where a mostly light blue femme with light green wings smiles brightly to their arrival.

"Wonderful my supplies have arrived." she says and a pause as she looks from Herbie to Robustus. "As well as guests I see."

"Gynae I do believe I have mentioned my Pops to you before." Shark points out.

The femme gives him a little nod, "You did indeed. Welcome to my medical bay and to Hydrobase. I certainly hope you will enjoy your stay here." the femme says.

Robustus smiles as he sets down the box he's been carrying, "I think we both will." a significant look towards the racer, "This is our vacation away from responsibilities."

Well if that wasn't the perfect opportunity to properly introduce himself, he didn't know what was.

The racer chuckles, "I think that you're right, sweetspark.~"

"Very nice to meet you, I am Info Sec and Comm officer Herbie. Robustus is my partner.~"

He tells the group with a small wave, basically grinning from audial to audial as he does.

Probably unwisely, Herbie allows for those curiously clawed digits to make contact with his frame. Helm angling up to keep optic contact with the other mech as he got closer. Curiosity and the thrill of danger motivating him to do so.

"Autobots have a habit to be on the softer side, but I guess... soft doesn't always mean you can easily fold them in half." In Darkfang's case, he meant it in no sexual way, but literal folding one until it hurt, in the battle way. Autobots tended to be stubborn and strong after all.
