Trying to get this character design right, realise she always has at least one paw up in the name of elegance (except when she’s cross)

You shouldn't hold onto the thing so dear to you that lightly. You should grasp onto it tightly, you should never let it go. You should keep it so snug in your arms that it'll always feel safe, and that it'll never be afraid of falling in shattered pieces to the ground. It doesn't deserve any less.

Some a bit more transparent, others perhaps frosted glass.

Some are filled with murky ink, just dying to be diluted

Others, so empty, being filled with anything would be contentment.
