14 years ago, I met this man while working at Mc Donald’s. I was 18 years old and uninterested. We had nothing in common. Nothing at all. Before giving his life to God, he was totally street. Even with our daily phone conversations and even after our first few dates, I was beginning to fall in love but was still skeptical. For some reason, and all the hell we went through and all the hell I put myself through, God still kept us together. In 2006 we got married, and I was still unsure about us. As time went on, God has shown me so many reason why we beat the odds and why are meant to be together. Everyday I am grateful that I opened my heart to him and allowed him to love me. Thank you Jarvis for always being there for me and breaking down the walls of not trusting and teaching me how to love. Thank you God for blessing me with my soulmate.
