Hey, everyone! I hope you’re enjoying the comic so far! There’s a lot more to come, and I promise the pace picks up from page 7 onward.

I know some of you may be confused by the scheduling, and rightly so! we don’t have a schedule. Both Panqake and I (dustybones) work full time. During our breaks, it’s hard to sit down and continue working. As fun as the comic is, it takes a lot of time to make each page, even when two people are sharing the workload. 30 pages doesn’t sound like a lot, but to us, it’s a lifetime away. We can’t promise that updates will continue being as frequent, but this is a passion project, so we’ll try keep it up!

We were thinking of possibly starting an early access system, where people can donate and see pages early, and also check out the original sketches and other exclusive content.

Don’t worry, the pages will still be uploaded here without charge. That was our vow from the beginning and we will stick to it! But if anyone would like to help us out, we’d really appreciate a donation <3

I’m sure everyone’s wondering what the heck is going on with this page, so I’m gonna try explain without giving away too many spoilers. @panqake and I (@dustybones, previously WolfCryptic) started this project a while ago and have been DYING to share it!

Basically, I really loved the story Marceline told to BMO in the Ketchup episode, but I was also a bit upset that we never truly saw the heartbreaking journey Marceline embarked on to save Bubblegum. All we got was a lighthearted tale with an ending Marceline couldn’t even put into words. So that’s how this idea came to be. We wanted to tell the story in detail and really show Marceline’s struggle as she watched Bubblegum slowly lose her mind. The comic will be roughly 30 pages and most of it has been drafted already. We didn’t want to make this announcement empty-handed and that’s why we coupled it with the gorgeous cover Panqake made. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
