this is so unbelievably beautiful
With every ending comes a new begining
So I have come to the realization that I never blogged about my return to civilization. I have been home for 2 months now, and I think I am just now coming to terms with having left the most magical place on earth. I didn't really want to talk about it, because this past program was the most amazing experience of my life. Not only did I have the most INCREDIBLE role at enchanted tales with belle, but I had the most AMAZING coworkers ever. I have never seen a large group of girls bond and treat each other so kindly.....we were a family. and im really starting to miss that family.
The spring advantage program has ended, meaning everyone that I met and created relationships with, are gone. everyone has returned home, and this same group of girls will most likely never all be together at once again. Its quite a depressing realization.
But what I guess im getting at is that i am SO GRATEFUL to have even had this opportunity. I think of the things I have done, the people I have met and the experiences I had through the Disney College Program. I honestly can't imagine my life without having experienced this. But leaving it behind is the hardest part.
Thankfully I did remain seasonal in Fantasyland :) Remaining a cast member has gotten me through being separated from 'home', knowing I still play a part of such a magical place, even though it is from afar. I can return whenever I can manage and still make magic for people. That is what I miss the most....making magic. going into work and having a greater purpose. Hell, i wouldnt even call it work. it truly is making magic.
I felt it was only appropriate to wrap up my blog for the college program, rather than leaving it hanging. I realized it appeared as though I didnt care about leaving, or that it wasnt a life changing experience. And with so many followers, I just want everyone to know how hard it is to even come to terms with the fact that i left. Because it WAS such a life changing experience. The Disney way of doing things has come out in everything I do in life now. overall i am happier, more appreciative and so much more because of the wonderful opportunity i had with Disney, and hopefully will have in the future.
So although this is my last entry (for this profile anyway), its the beginning of a new journey. The start of my seasonal career with Disney and the future I have with the Walt Disney Company. Anyone that has an questions about the Disney College Program PLEASE ask away. Dont let the fear of something unknown keep you from this incredible opportunity. I will gladly talk about my experience as well as any general questions you may have. Ask away <3
and to all my followers, who have been with me from my very first acceptance into my first college program back in 2012, to those who started following me recently, thank you <3 I hope I have been able to share my experiences with you in a positive way and maybe even got a few of you hooked on the program as well ;)
See ya real soon <3
Once upon a time, there was no giant purple arch, just a simple brown road sign to let you know you were entering the Vacation Kingdom Of The World.
