some cool things ive learned along the way. even tho iāve been alive for barely a decade and a half :)
if youāre having a panic attack listen to weightless by macaroni union (scientifically proven to slow heart rate and calm you down)
give compliments like little gifts. Even if youāre shy, everyone loves to feel validated
Dont be afraid to restart and change who you are. Change your hair, your clothes, but make sure itās who you want to be and not someone else
when plugging in a usb the side w the two little squares that are holes goes up
Also donāt be afraid to do just enough or cut yourself a little slack. Often you will do better work after taking a little break <3
Make playlists for everything you feel. Make playlists for when you donāt know what you feel
Place the tea bag on the spoon and wrap the string around tightly to squeeze the last drops out
Keep a journal. Scrapbook all the little artifacts and pictures. Diary entries and shopping lists. You will look back fondly
Romanticize the little things, the drab and boring. It truly makes you enjoy life more. Everything is a little adventure
When painting with soft colors use grey instead of black. Or maybe a brown for a warm color palette
Write letters to yourself and enjoy opening them after an allotted amount of time. Or write them to someone else and donāt send them. Because sometimes itās ok to be pretentious
Dont share earbuds for old music because youāll on,y get half the song. Or do and itās romantic :)
School is not everything. But it gets you to everything. Dont stress too much and let yourself let loose and have fun but still remember your goals
Itās ok to be alone. The stigma is what makes it feel wrong
Always be the third one there. Or donāt and donāt overthink
If you walk under a ladder just freeze and slowly walk back out the same way you went under
Buy a bag of candy and reward yourself for small tasks and accomplishments because you deserve it !
